well worth multiple purchases for self and others

I love this item, I use it to carry around my cat for short periods while I integrate her into new enviornments and ensuring she still feels safe by being near me. Granted not every cat will stay put this well, but I believe it can be worth the purchase, with age comes calmness. Also I find carriers to the vet office restrictive and while I do bring my cat in a carrier I can take her out for a bit and these girls were able to pet the cat rather than stick fingers into the hole method. It is and odd feeling at first when using it and feeling your pet is secure, I think the shorter you are the less this would be a good purchase for you. I am 4'11" but I guess the hips is where is should hang. The dark interior is also an added comfort your pet may like as their hide zone if overwhelmed. Super soft and withstands washing great, and I have subjected it to a variety of load settings as well as temperature fluctuations for different cycles. Again, not every pet will enjoy this, my previous cat did take to it when she felt well. But when she was in her final month due to being all cancer and i had to take her to the vet for a check on her I took her out of the crate and held her in this at the vet's office. Any last minute bonding to ease the cat toward the time they are close to passing is precious. I didn't feel worse bringing her to the vet for an emergency because it wasn't as stressful and cold as the crate feels. I have gotten every cat owner I know one of these because of that moment specifically. This takes up no space and is not a hair trap. It feels clean without the need of my washes I have done.

Pink/Black Pet Sling

I bought this as a Christmas present for my best friend and her dog, a 4lb long-haired Chihuahua. When I received it, I took it out and it felt soo comfy! The fabric is really quite delightful -- very soft, but still thick. It seems like it will last for a long time and I LOVE that it's machine washable. Hoping to make sure it would fit her Chi, I put my 7lb Chihuahua in the sling and though her head and shoulders stick out of it, she laid/sat down immediately. She looked pretty comfortable and I know she LOVED being able to look out and see everything while being literally attached to my hip :). My best friend's Chihuahua is a little more rambunctious than mine, but still sat like an angel in the sling. Yes, it's a little unstable, but both dogs seemed to enjoy sitting in it. In regards to use, this item really isn't supposed to be used to "hide" your dog while you're out and about. It's more for if you're at an outdoor mall where big dogs are around, or if you want a handsfree shopping experience. If you want something that will keep your pet on the DL while they're in places they're not really supposed to be, you may want to look around for a purse-like carrier. I reviewed one that I'm really happy with, or there are plenty of other options to choose from on Amazon. Hope this helps!

My pup loves it!

She is so comfortable in it and she even sleeps in it when I'm walking around with her. I don't recommend you use it every single time you go out since dogs need their exercise, but when they don't want to walk go ahead and use it. It's so fashionable but then again, I kind of feel like a kangaroo when I wear it. My pup will stick her head out of it to see where we're going or she'll lay in it. By looking at it I couldn't tell if my pup would be comfy in it or not but she seems to like it. This is of course for small pets only like Yorkie, west highland terriers, chihuahuas, etc. I bought one of these for my puppy and for my co-worker's pup. She told me that her puppy jumps out of it. That's the only bad part, there is no security for them. I feel my pup will fall out at any time and have to adjust it continuously to make sure she doesn't. This can also be used as a blanket if you're out and forget to bring one for your puppy. Very cozy I sometimes want to use it!

I love the color and fabric, and my dog does too, but as stated it is a little small for some dogs. I wish they made it in a larger size with a deeper pouch. My dog likes to sink in and just have her head out. She is 8 lbs and the bag is OK, but not great. We use it, but her favorite is an old school backback that we wear the same way. She can snuggle in and sleep and stick her head out to see what is going on when she wants to. I am going to try to make a soft one that is deeper myself. I have not found any on the market I liked as well as this one. Only problem was depth. Some dogs would find it hot in the summer, but not my chihuahua--she likes to be warm all the time so the fabric is a plus.

Hug A Bug Loved Her Snuggler

I often fly back to CO from OR with my 5 lb Yorkie, Hug A Bug.. I used to carry her in my Poochie Purse. However, due to my left side paralysis, from a stroke I had 30 years ago, I do not have the use of my left hand and arm. It was difficult carrying her and trying to dig out documents, without swinging her around, It took a bit if practice to get her in properly, but once in, she loved being snuggled in close to me because she felt safe and secure, and could still poke her head out to peek around. It is much safer to carry her that way, in crowded places, rather than letting her simply walk by me or on a leash. I don't have to worry about someone inadvertently stepping on her. I also use it, if she is with me and it is either too hot or cold to leave her in the car. We would both highly recommend this product, and I have the pictures to prove she obviously enjoys her new "ride."
