Easy Sprout Cultivation: 1.
For all you seed sprouting enthusiasts out there, terracotta is the way to go. This one appeared to have been meticulously packed with heavy duty cardboard, yet ours had a small crack in the reservoir tier. Seem to recall this purchase was advertised as a slightly discounted warehouse return in like new condition, probably due to the crack. Everything else was as expected. From an aesthetic point of view, wish it were slightly better quality. The top of the lid is jagged/rough and takes away from the beauty of the rest of the piece. That does not affect its usefulness for our purposes, nor does the minor crack. It provides an excellent medium for sprouting.

Very brittle on the feet
The feet were a bit chipped but the item was good

A piece of Art as well as sustainably functional
Ive had many versions of sprout jars and containers but this one far passes any of them. It looks beautiful on the counter as well as sustainable. I love that it holds three kinds of different sprouts and it has a tray at the bottom. Very easy to use and clean. Even if the alfalfa sprouts stick sometimes, a little pin put through the holes does the trick. Now I know what to give as presents to my other organic sustainable friends who seem to have everything But this. Love it!

Adorable
This terracotta sprout tower is fantastico, made in Italy! I really love it, it arrived fast and well packaged. It’s a good size, five levels to accommodate different sprouts all at once. It’s perfect in every way! I am very happy with this purchase!

Wonderful!!
The media could not be loaded. This is my first time using this works great!! This is day 4 only and these are growing wonderfully!! I'm going to keep growing to microgreens. No soil no mess no smell this is great! I wake up in the morning and fully water and drain each one and after a couple of days they just stand up on their own. I water again when I get home and then before bed. Just make sure to fully drain.

Great gift idea.
I really like that this is terracotta, not plastic. That is why I chose it. It looks lovely on the kitchen counter, beautiful design that you want to use. It is a great gift idea for new sprouters and is fun to use. That being said, here are the negatives: The tiny holes in each layer do get clogged if using small seeds like Alfalfa. It takes a loooong time to poke them all out with a needle in between sprouting. For that reason, I'm going to start using other non plastic sprouters and reserve this pretty one for sprouting large beans instead of tiny seeds. Also, although I am very careful with this, it already has a chip in it and a little crack around one of the feet. I hope it lasts a long time because I do like it, just have to be careful with it.

It’s ok but a raw clay plate or saucer works better
I have 4 raw clay 7.5 plates I was using before I bought this and I actually like them better. The Geo is smaller and the drain holes can be a pain. Plus the feet, are delicate. Here are a few suggestions to make the most out of these. 1. Line it will a coffee filter for small seeds or only use it for larger seeds. 2. If you aren’t going to use a coffee filter get a tool to make it easier to clean the drain holes. The plus is that it looks nice and takes up little to no counter space and it does work. Update 1/14/23 Still unimpressed, I have also noticed a few chips in the feet, not to mention even with purchasing lab utensils to clean the holes it’s still a pain. Even though I only use bugger seeds like peas, mung beans and sunnies the roots still grow in the tiny holes.

It works
As a person concerned about plastics, I was giddy to find this sprouting tower that uses no plastic, either in the product or packaging. But, because the terra cotta is unglazed, and the packaging is all cardboard, the first set I received was broken. The second had a couple of chips on the "feet", but it Is usable. I've used it several times, I am honing my skills. The trays do tend to stain, but still work just fine. Two drawbacks 1 - Requires daily attention, unlike many other systems 2 - the drainage holes can get clogged with roots. I poke them clean with a toothpick. All in all, I love my terra cotta sprouter.

Gutes Naturprodukt
Wer also hauptsächlich sehr kleine Samen sprossen lässt, sollte vielleicht eher ein Sprossenglas nehmen.

Easy to use. Rustic looking. Well made.
Bought this to grow my seeds and salad sprouts. It is a great product. Very easy to use and adds a decorative element to my kitchen. It comes with the handy instructions and even my child can figure out how to use it. Whats good about it is that you can grow different types of sprouting seeds at the same time thanks to a multi layer design. Cleaning is a but of an issue. Sometimes things can get stuck in small holes and can be hard to get to.

Absolutely beautiful.
1) Looks so beautiful compared to the plastic ones, like a living art object when the seeds are sprouting. We keep ours on our dining table. 2) Will keep you super healthy! 3) No plastic. 4) Our parrot loves to climb the sides and eat the seed sprout leaves which are really healthy for him. 5) The fun of gardening and growing food, right in your own home. 6) Nice project for parents and kids. 7) Would make a great original gift. Going to be my Christmas present for everyone this year!

The best bean sprouter I've used
the design means that the beans never sit in water as the water filters through to the bottom tray. This is essential, as previous amateur attempts by me have meant that I've overwatered, or forgotten to water, and the seeds rot or die. Provided you fill you the water in the top tray to the lip, the water in the tray won't overspill (unless you forget to empty the water tray at the bottom before you next water the beans!). The drain holes are small enough for flax seeds to fit into them, (so don't sprout flax) and a pin is needed to clean the holes. I had thought of drilling out the holes a little, but realised that if I did: (a) seeds larger than flax seeds would fall into them, but more importantly (b) the water would drain through more quickly, thus decreasing the amount of time that the beans and sprouts are soaking in the water. Overall, an excellent design, and aesthetically pleasing, so it looks like an ornament rather than a piece of plastic that needs putting out of the away in a cupboard. This factor alone means that I remember to water the sprouts morning and evening. Highly recommended.

Super Sprossenturm
