Great gloves

Great gloves, specially for their value, for stick still gets a little hot when close to the welding. Mig and flux same, except for thick wire like 1/16 on flux. Then these are no good it's like I was almost not wearing them. For thick wire maybe go with cowhide rather than goatskin. I didn't use it for what it was made for, tig lol probably great for that too

Great for detail work

I'm using these as welding and plasma cutting gloves. You can burn yourself wearing these gloves but that's true of most gloves I've tried. What I really like is how supple they are. I'm able to pick up small objects which I could not with most welding gloves. In regard to heat resistance, they pass through heat quickly so I know to back off thereas most welding gloves will hold heat longer and by the time I first feel the heat it's too late and I have to pull off those gloves quickly to prevent burning my hands. I will certainly buy another pair when these are beyond use.

Soft and Tough and Big

I have very large hands and few gloves fit me well but these fit great even though I only went with a Large size. If you have to try on 10 pairs of Large winter gloves before you find any at the regular store that are big enough, consider the Large size they do run big. The kidskin is very soft and has an almost rubbery feel but doesn't stretch. After some months of use I can confirm they last even with MIG splatter hitting them. They don't block all the heat but I like getting a bit of feedback and have not been burned doing TIG or MIG.
