All catnip is not the same. Syd is too banana to sit upright
My cat is spoiled. I have bought indie brands, local farms, and mass made catnip toys. This is the first time I have had a cat try to open the cardboard box that the item came in. I had a large box full of other items so I couldn't figure out why the cat was so obsessed with the box. I was busy so opened it later. As soon as I picked up the box Syd was meowing. He's a cat so it's normal. I had a hard time taking the catnip Banana out of its packaging because Syd kept trying to run away with it, plastic wrap and all. Now I know why people tell me their cats love the banana ????. I see the appeal

Very durable toy
Very well-made (in USA) does not tear apart like so many other toys, fabric is strong, easy for cat to cradle and scratch like they do. Catnip is pretty strong the first weeks -- my cat licked the toy repeatedly when it first came then stared at her paw for an hour, so next time I'd let her play with it for small time periods at first. After 6 months the banana is still intact, no stuffing poking out, etc., my psycho kitty tears most other toys up instantly, so this is certainly recommended!

Impossibly picky cat.
I recommend this for every cat alive. My cat will not play with any toy I have bought her since I got her 8 years ago, including catnip toys. Instead, she prefers to play with scraps of paper that end up on the floor, or she takes tissues out of the trash. But the Yoewww banana is the first toy I have ever seen her go crazy for, over and over. She even gets excited when she sees it in my hand, and will meow until I give it to her. I have just ordered the Yeowww rainbow - why not, I'm on a roll with these toys!

How to make your cat happy
I have picky cats. They like different toys and have different play styles. All love this banana. One will sit on it, one will play fetch with it and the other beats it up. It is so popular in my house that I have to replace it every few months because it gets gross with cat spit.

Only catnip toy my cat likes
My cat may lack the so-called catnip gene as she doesn’t respond to any toys that have catnip in them. Except for this one. She goes crazy licking and biting the banana and doing bunny kicks. There must be something in the catnip blend for this banana that really affects my cat!

My cat loves it!
Upon tossing this to my car, he immediately rolled on top of it and proceeded to attack the banana across the floor and into my living room. He has been enjoying himself , paws up, licking it, biting it, acting crazy. Exactly what I was hoping for. Great toy.

Our kitty loves this toy!!
It was an immediate hit (she loves catnip) and after having a couple of months, it remains her favorite toy. This is a great purchase for a feline fur-baby! !

Bad quality, rude sellers!
Only had the product for a week and cat ripped it apart after playing with it about 3 times? Have had so many cat toys in the past and with my cat they last a lot longer after being played with much more, so I thought the particular one I was sent must have been faulty with bad stitching or something. I sent a message to the seller asking for a replacement and had such a rude and patronising response I was genuinely shocked. Have copied it below so people can make their own minds up, I will definitely not be purchasing from these people again! This was my message: "Hello! I ordered the banana catnip toy from Amazon a week ago and it has already ripped releasing the filling everywhere. I'm guessing they're made to withstand this for more than a week? Please could you send a replacement? I have a photo and receipt from Amazon." And this was the response I got: "Oh my gosh, Kitty tore it open to get the catnip to eat! It is good for them. Now I’m going to have some fun with you. So, how does 7-8 grams of catnip get “All over everything!” : ) It is catnip, and a vacuum cleaner will work great but you may need to empty the bag a twenty times to get it all!! ;) These toys are made of sturdy cotton twill. The only stronger fabric that would keep the cat from ripping, would be Kevlar! It is bulletproof! But no oder of catnip will be let out. No Smelly! Cats will try to get at it by bunny kicking it or front claws and teeth! They sometimes ‘kill' it in a day or 2 weeks or they may consider it a mate and and even sleep with it or will lovingly carry it all over for 10 years, yes we have customers cats like that.. All kitties reactions are different. What would you suggest we make them out of? At least they are made in the USA and not Chinese toys filled with stuff ? And a pinch of maybe catnip. Or make kitty sick! Thanks for letting me have a little fun!"

A HUGE catnip hit!
To say that this catnip stuffed banana was a wild success with our cat is something of an understatement. It's the size of those fun-size actual bananas you can get in supermarkets. It's absolutely crammed with catnip, and the smell is extremely strong. Other fruits are available from this company (and the apple is set to arrive later today), but the banana offers pleasing length for back-paw kicking action. It's now looking even more like a banana, being an unsavoury brown at the end after some sucking. He's played with it multiple times a day for over a week, so it has staying power. I'd bought some catnip mice from another emporium, and these had been greeted with only moderate enthusiasm. Eddington, who's around 18 months old, is a rescue cat. We've only had him for a couple of weeks so are still trying toys out. The sitting room is littered with discarded attempts to entertain. Crinkly starfish, not so much. Drug-filled bananas, buy them by the bunch, says Eddington. If your cat likes catnip (and not all do), I think fun (for both cat and owner) is guaranteed with this toy. I post evidence below.

Your cat will not get enough of it
The media could not be loaded. Read on a forum that loads of cat owners recommend this catnip stuffed banana. Said to give it a try and it works like a charm. This is my cats go to high and fiercly trying to puncture it every time but the material is very durable and that won't happen anytime soon. My cat is all over this toy, proof attached.

My usually docile neutered Blue X fourteen year old...
After opening the packet, and setting the banana aside, I gave my sleeping boy a little fuss... and the normally docile lovable and normally gentle creature became wide eyed and as high as a kite within seconds, sinking all his claws into my hands, whilst frantically sniffing and licking my fingers, totally oblivious as to whether he would go on to slash my wrists and drink my blood, as his back feet went into disemboweling mode... Within an hour of getting his teeth into the actual banana, and drooling over it until it was more or less like a wet sponge, he was so deep into his drug induced euphoria that he actually managed to skin it completely, after first inflicting multiple punctures with his teeth and claws, before disemboweling the toy completely... It was an hours fun I suppose. He is currently mounting a full on assault on the kitchen bin which has become the late banana's ad hoc mausoleum, and after I've taken the bin out hopefully he will metamorph' back into his usual docile lovely calm self, and it will be safe to handle him once more!

So fun the neighbour's cat pinched one!
My cats love these! Even the cat next door popped in & pinched one! They aren't joking when they say it's strong cat nip! You'll be tackled bringing the delivery in! I suggest you unwrap them in a separate room unless you want a cat swinging off the banana as you get the labels off! Bought 1 banana but quickly had to purchase 2 more as both my cats want to play with it! First Yeowww purchase was 3 'Stinkies' 11 months ago & they have not lost interest in them or the bananas! Other toys don't often get so much as a look after a couple of weeks unless they're 'litter' such as straws & bottle tops!! So very impressed!
