Works as expected

Great for on board air (OBA) setup. Made an aluminum box for it and hard mounted it to the van's chassis. Used the rubber mounting feet that came with the compressor and it's a little loud when the compressor is running, but not too bad. Compressor is able to air up both rear tires from 55 PSi to 80 PSI w/o any issues.

Quality

Great price for a well built small compressor. I installed this on my motorhome and added 3 air stations with quick disconnects and a pressure switch. You get what you pay for, this has to be the best small compressor, I've had a couple different ones and none of them were as capable or well built.

Love this pump

I have a 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD and my tires are LT 265/70r 18 and this compressor has no problem pumping them to 70 psi. Love this pump! Gas station air compressors will not fill these tires. I have air for tires any place any time. I also pull a horse trailer and had to order the extension hose to make the distance.

Very heavy duty

Nice product, good quality, I use with my 5 gallon air tank under my f250 to run tools, air up my firestone air bags, air up pickup, trailer, and passenger tires. Will run non-stop, continuous duty.

Quality Air Source

Does the trick for having on board air without a tank. The compressor comes with several feet of wire and an inline blade fuse. Can be mounted in any orientation except upside down (cooling concerns). Mounting options are numerous. Having a quality air source is quite comforting and essential when traveling the primitive back country roads of the south/west.

Quality and a well put together kit...only thing I would change is the remote filter hose...instead of a stiff hard to bend tube I would use a rubber hose. Other then the hose, I would and will buy again

Viair 45042 450H Hardmount Compressor

my choice of on-board air was easy. your on the trail and that is what everybody has. i run 33 inch tires and when i'm done with the trails. i hit the on button of my 450h and 16 minutes later i'm on the freeway driving home. way better then hitting up the gas station air pump.

Great for off-roading.

So solidly made, mounted this under the hood of my jeep, it's great to have for off-roading. The "Viair 00027 Deflator/Inflator" is a perfect mate for this item, it's a great setup.

Great quality so far.

I mounted this in the engine bay if my truck and it’s wired in to help me bring my tires back to road pressure after being aired down. Works faster than I thought and runs in winter temps too.
