comfortable - affordable - bulky

Bought two of these for use at the lake. Instructions were extremely difficult to follow - Actually put together three times before we figured out the layout in instructions were backwards. We assembled the 2nd unit using common sense and having the first one as a template. They seem well made and have held up for one season. Like most webbed chairs best to keep out of direct sunlight when not using. I have to find a place to store these for the winter, going to take some room, as once assembled they are quite bulky. Other than the assembly, we really like being able to sit and relax on a hot day with a cold drink. We tie off each to the dock and let the currents take us. Stable in the waves, and would be fine in a pool

For $100, I expected more.

The first chair I bought had a popped pontoon. Unfortunately had to return and buy a second chair. Quick and easy process. Only added an extra 2 or 3 days. Second chair came and after reading more reviews, I decided to purchase a tube of Lexel caulk. It was 5.99 at Ace Hardware. When I installed the bolts into the pontoons I added the Lexel caulk to both the pontoon holes and also the threading of the self tapping screw holder thingy-mabobber (You'll know what I mean if you buy it). The directions themselves weren't too hard to follow, however the parts were not as described. Which made it a little difficult, but only for an extra couple of minutes to think about the steps made it come together in about 1.5 hours. The PVC is a small size tube and being in the summer heat (Arizona), I could see it being very brittle next year. For reference I'm 6'4" and 180 pounds. Pontoons do great once you are in the chair. They go under quite a bit when getting in, causing your cup holders to fill with water. However the back square cut out of the pontoon seems to never go under as it's still dry. My feet hang over about 4 inches from my ankles and none of my head fits on the back rest. The chair also has about 2 or 3 inches of fabric on either side of me. The chair also has no adjustments. Once you installed the bolts holding the chair to the pontoons the chair is locked in place. It is a comfortable position though. All in all, happy as I'm currently floating while writing this. For the money, I feel as if it could come a little more assembled and with proper directions.

Great float! Just needs a headrest/pillow

I owned one just like this float years ago but they used to have a built in pillow. The float needs a pillow! It was uncomfortable because you have to hold your head up which causes your neck to hurt. Other than that it’s a great, comfy pool lounger that should last for years. Don’t drag the plastic pontoon/armrests when removing from the water, that’s what wears out and get holes that make the chair unusable.

Great Pool Chair with a minor design issue.

I purchased this pool chair because of the hard plastic frame that I could attach a small umbrella onto to keep the sun out of my eyes while lounging. That part works really great. By the way, there are only a couple of chairs like this on the market that allow you to attach an umbrella to. I had one like this years ago that I loved, and it lasted several years. This one is well built, but my only issure is that when I am sitting in the chair it is difficult to sit upright. You have to lay back so far that it is even hard to drink your drink in that position. I wish they would either allow the back to be set in more of an upright position, or add a padded head rest, or both would be nice. I would gladly pay more for the chair with those features. The price of the chair was very fair as far as I was concerned. All in all, I would recommend this chair over all the others I have seen on the market, especially for the price. Comfort, was so so.

The perfect summertime pool float!

I LOVE this float. Worth every penny. I had a lot of trouble with putting it together, but honestly, that was because I didn't watch the video showing you how to. And then you really have to finesse the screws into place, which I am bad at. I would have gladly paid someone to do this for me! Customer service was super helpful and sent me the replacement piece that I damaged, as well as helped me to troubleshoot. Except for the hassle of putting it together, it's a five star item!

What a Letdown.

I'm reminded of an old MG-TD sports car. It too was great looking but famously uncomfortable and leaky, but a perhaps little more maneuverable. One is at the mercy of the currents when aboard this scow of a lounge. We added a headrest that helped a little, but my personal best time aboard it is a measly 13 minutes. I had to bail.

2 better than 1! Perfect for relaxing!

I bought one for my husband for Fathers Day! The one with the circles. He absolutely loved it and looked forward to getting in the pool with a good book after work. We had not been using our pool much since we have become empty nesters. I finally broke down and bought one for me! I got the blue/turquoise waves one. Now we both enjoy our quiet afternoons floating and reading! Maureen

I'm not sure about the frame

I'm not sure about the frame made out of PVC (white sturdy plastic pipes). I'm not sure it will endure chlorine, the sun and my weight for a very long time. I had a chair exactly like this one many many years ago and it was made of painted galvanized steel pipes. I remember it lasted for a very long time. What about this one ? At 160 CDN$ I hope it's going to last a little.

Super comfortable

We love this chair. It was not difficult to put together, with well marked instructions, although it took two of us carefully working together. Now it is a contest to see who gets into it first. Everyone in the family wants to use it. A great place to nap on a hot day in a refreshing pool. It is solid construction, a really good product well worth the money. It should last for many years.

Not sure how long it will hold up

Seems a little bit light weight for the price point. The instructions were not the best. My wife fought hard to put it together but I had to rescue her in the end.
