Perfect product for the job

Does what it is supposed to

Durable tubular nylon for tactical/rescue applications.

This would not be a good EDC belt as it isn't rigid or reinforced, so you'd need to make some modifications or double-laminate it. It is, however, sturdy T-Ny and with decent Tri-Glide attachments/Buckles, you can make some pretty custom additions to your Load Bearing Equipment (LBE). This is too wide to use as an add-on belt for brands like 5.11, you'll need 1.5" T-Ny for that. I use the T-Ny as an emergency drag/carry option for casualties and a wider strap to distribute loads on my shoulders. You can sew in some "outdoor furniture" padding so make it even more lux if you're going to be doing longer movements.

I recently purchased a pair of neoprene waders that fit good, but not great. I bought this to make new shoulder straps for said waders. Color was a perfect match, very easy to singe and sew, even on a machine.

JUST WHAT I WANTED - soft but strong! And so many colors to choose from!

Something is fishy about the listing. When I ordered the only choice was 2" x 10 yards and the price - (from Strapworks directly was $8.00 w/Free Shipping (which was a great deal). Now, about a week later the only choice is 2" x 10 yards fulfilled by Amazon for $13.88 which is too expensive for webbing (IMHO) I ordered the Charcoal Gray and it is a bit light for charcoal but I am more than pleased with the quality (and the price that I paid). It will work out perfectly for my purposes. So far I used it to bind the edge of a blanket and make hanger loops so I can suspend the blanket from the 3 sets of headrest posts in the back seat of my SUV - to protect the seat (and seat back) from my 2 large dogs. Even though some points of the project involved machine sewing through 4 layers of this webbing plus the blanket, the machine needle went though this poly webbing just fine. It is soft, but very, very strong - and suitable for just about any webbing usage I can imagine!

Somewhat good but not great

I feel it depends on what you want to use this for. I was "repairing" an older outdoor Rattan Chair and Two piece sofa. At first it was fine then it started to stretch and tear. Maybe I should have reinforced the ends where I was attaching better. It worked fine.

Very sturdy material Update: lowed to one star because the roll is short by 25 feet. The ad says it's 25 yards which is 75 feet however after using 40 feet of it there only 10 feet left. That is not cool as I need the full amount that I ordered to finish my second project.

strapworks is my go-to shop for webbing and accessories

It's strapping. Not being used for life saving activities but I have used same product for harnesses, scuba harness, in the past. Would never suggest a home user sew anything life saving at home unless home is an industrial rigging shop. Have not had a chance to see if it retains colour after being wet but will test that. pro: great price, decent lengths available, sews ok with denim needles or sharp industrial needles.

this strapping material is great for everything except the most demanding task such as towing a car - with the right fasteners - it can be used for almost any task that a strap is used

Light weight vs heavy weight

It’s a little thin when used for refurbishing a swing chair and I have to repeatedly tighten the webbings which is a problem consider a thicker weight for this type of project
