Perfect for my granddaughter to cuddle
This is a very soft stuffed animal. My only disappointment was the packaging had mashed the horn down and it looked more like he had 3 ears . She loved it and that's all that matters

SUPER Cool & Amazingly Soft
I have to be honest here...I don't have kids so I have no clue really what they like or are into at the different age brackets and stuff. Clueless doesn't even begin to describe me! I decided to buy this stuffed unicorn for my great-niece for Christmas. I've actually heard of "Melissa & Doug" (and you know that if I'VE heard of them, that's saying something lol) so I thought to myself, "Self - maybe you should get this product. It's from a company you've actually heard of, it's a unicorn and unicorns are cool, AND it's a stuffed animal and even YOU still have a stuffed snake from when you were 9 years-old. This should be a winner!" So, for once in my life, I listened to myself. Well, the good self. This unicorn was freaking soft as heck!! I've had many a stuffed animal in my time, but have never felt one that was as soft as this. And it had weighted feet, too, which was super cool. (Apparently I missed that part of the description when I was reading through it...) I was THRILLED with my purchase and only hoped that my great-niece would be too. Hopefully she'd love it even more than she would the wrapping paper it came in!! I sent the unicorn to her and anxiously awaited the results. Her parents took video of her unwrapping it and she LOVED it. Yes, she was enraptured by the wrapping paper, but once she saw the unicorn she threw that stuff down and got acquainted with her new friend. I am so, so happy that I picked this little guy for her present. Score one for the clueless aunt!! :) Melissa & Doug Misty Unicorn Stuffed Animal

My daughter loves her!
This was our second unicorn! Our dog got to the first one, twice! But she was one of my daughters favorites so we replaced her! Makes a great gift!

Never thought I'd say a unicorn could be so ugly
Not sure what happened, but this unicorn is really unsettling. The photo on here looks cute but when it arrived and I opened the package I suddenly felt the urge to boycott everything unicorn-ish and contact all outlets of social media to inform the world that Melissa & Doug somehow managed to RUIN the magic and beauty of this sacred creature. It's hard to believe, I know! But this, THING, was poorly sewn, had rough dried glue patches showing, flaps of fabric, yucky matted purple "fur", and worst of all... it had these crazy, derpy EYES that hypnotized me into a disgusted torturous trance. Ugh. I attempted to wrap it back up, practically strangling it with extra plastic, and pushed it back into a dark, deep box. I buried the box. I checked into returning it, but it was hardly worth receiving the $7 or $8 (because I'd have to pay for shipping.) The only thing left to do was to get this thing outta my life, and outta my nightmares! As I carefully planned a way to dispose of this hideous thing, low and behold, my four year old daughter walked into the kitchen HOLDING THE "UNICORN"!! I about died on the spot. My first reaction was to quickly snatch the "unicorn" and toss it into my oven which was heated at 400 degrees cooking a pizza. But I was too hungry to intentionally ruin my dinner. My eyes nervously darted around the room looking for a weapon, or a cage of some sort, to trap this creature that unfortunately had used its derpy google eyes to hypnotize my precious daughter into believing it was actually cute! I had an internal meltdown and ended up running outta my house screaming. After spending a week in the fetal position while mumbling, I finally came to and managed to recruit my two teenage sons as "unicorn killers". I never asked them what they did with this "thing", but, all I know is that it's gone & I can start the healing process. Save yourself the Hell, and don't buy this unicorn!!

5 stars because it makes my daughter happy
My three and a half year old little girl received this unicorn for Christmas. It has since become her favorite plush toy to snuggle with at night. It really is quite cuddly. It does not stand up on its own like the picture shows, but rather splays out in to a "spread-eagle" type pose. I'm fine with this since it really seems to lend to the unicorn's cuddle factor. It is very soft and squeezable, about a foot long and ten inches or so tall with bean-bag feet. My daughter loves it. If you have any questions feel free to ask and I will answer best I can. Thanks. ***UPDATE 2/27/2014*** It's only been two months, but the toy is holding up well. I say this because it has become one of our daughters favorite things. She sleeps with it every night. She named her "Feathers" and she always goes with my daughter to sleep over at her grandmother's house. Buy the unicorn for your child... they will love it, especially little girls. SPO

Don't believe the picture!
Just purchased this for an Easter gift for my grandson. Just like in a similar review it looks used and nothing like the picture. The fur is matted and the mane and tail look like a cheap imitation of-- yes, the troll dolls from the 90's-- fake hair. No way is it made of the material that is shown-- no one could possible comb it to look any better. Not happy at all. I have purchased items from Melissa & Doug many times in the past and am very surprised at the poor quality and presentation of this doll. Update: 4-30-17 I emailed Melissa & Doug regarding the quality and received a quick response asking for more info which I provided to them. They informed me that my assessment of the stuffed unicorn's condition was correct and that probably all of their current stock of that item would look the same. So-- they offered me a similarly priced item at no charge. I received it in about a week and was very pleased with their customer service. Two additional stars for their effort . . . . . .

Would recommend for any little girl wanting a unicorn
Very cute. The fur is a little more shaggy than I expected but actually ads to the cuteness. Toy does not stand up on but can sit. Very soft and plush and cuddly. Would recommend for any little girl wanting a unicorn.

Extremely disappointed with product
