Great detector

Great product but not very good in land with high mineral.

I didn't like that it was very sensitive to minerals. Lots of false readings..

Amazing metal detector!!!!!!

The metal detector it self looks amazing jut like in the picture. And it works just as told in the description XD It had the 16 AA batteries included and they send a certification that said that they made that the product was working correctly (which it think was a nice detail :D) To test is I use a pan and set it in my back yard and that helped me to test the sensibility of the product which allows to detect metal at different heights. I would not recommend it to people who is trying to find little objects like rings or small things like that because it work better with bigger objects. Overall am really happy with my purchase and i would totally recommend this one to anyone who is trying to look for objects bigger than the top of a hammer ;D

It's good, but not as good as they used to be.

I'm a bit biased in that I have a 1958 version of this metal detector (an M-Scope) by the same company. While the new unit works fine, it is prone to false readings and the manufacturing is a bit flimsy. This unit works around roughly 80 kHz and does not have the penetrating power of the older unit (which was around 14 kHz). I find myself still using the older model when I need accurate readings.
