Exceeded expectations at every turn.

I originally purchased these tools to use on some side projects that would have cost me 3x the amount spent to have someone else do them. I was amazed at the performance. I built an entire fence, used 1/4 of one battery. The drill is powerful enough that when I would hit dense wood, instead of binding up, it’s powerful enough to snap the heads off of the bits. The reciprocating saw has chewed through everything I have put it up against, including a tree with a 6 inch trunk. The flashlight is nice and bright. I haven’t had a chance to play with the impact yet, but I have no doubt it will exceed my expectations as well. Highly recommended.

Great set of tools for the price. But they are brushless

For the price ($124) the tools are a real value. They have performed admirably for household tasks. The drill and drivers have decent power and have good battery life. I even get to use the torch light when I take my daughter to the parks in the evening. The magnets on the torch come in handy for mounting. But the caveat is that they are older models and are NOT BRUSHLESS. SKIL website tells that All powercore20 tools are brushless. Thats not true. The 2018 models (the ones in this set) are brushed. The brushless sets are significantly more powerfull. For example, the driver in this set has a torque of 1100 lbin. whereas the brushless ones have 1800 lbin. But for DIY household work I think this set should suffice.

Quality in motion.

Thus far I have only used the sawzall, but if this is a preview to what is to come with the rest I am definitely impressed. I cut down some small trees that I didn't want. The power was flawless. It cut through the limbs like a hot knife through butter. The battery lasted very well. I was able to use it for two trees, and quite a few bushes. It is still early, but I am not disappointed.

Powerful Drilling

The impressive thing is drilling my kitchen wall that surprisingly has three 1.5 inch wooden planks mounted back-to-back each other. Plus, the particle wood set at the outer side was also attached to the wood. I drilled about 10 holes from inside-out to vinyl sidings from my kitchen to install an exhaust fan without any power issue or other problems associated to the tool. The choice would be best if the second set is equal to the first one because the second set does not as many options in comparison to the first.

Perfect DIY Kit

I purposely waited to write a review on this kit. I have had it now for about almost four months now and I am very pleased with all tools that come with it. I have put good use in to them. They have decent battery life with the two 2.0mAh batteries included. I would defintely recommend buying a bigger battery for more involved projects. I was a little skeptical at first but have been very happy with my purchase. Definitely recommend this kit for any DIYer out there!

Don't charge the battery's so long if you do battery won't last by the time

this I is the best power tools you can buy i bought this for fathers day he loved great quality batteries last longer im not going to lie is expensive but if you want to do great job on you duty in home or fixing your costumer home improvements this is the best one he used the drill most time so this batteries last longer than I thought so you don't have to buy another power tools again in till 5 or 10 years

Perfect for just about any size home project!

This is great for just about anything and everything around the home. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. The only drawback which I knew going in, is that it does not contain any kind of a carrying case. (That was something that the competition did have.) There are a lot of pieces that could be contained in a sturdy canvas or hard shell case. But I'm sure that would have driven the price up. Like I said the equipment itself, I am very pleased.

FUNNY BUT TRUE

I read other reviews before buying this and almost didn't purchase. Then I thought about it. First series of complaints were about the difficulty getting the bits out of the case. Now, all the reviews I read were coming from men I'd like to point out. The second thing I saw most was the poor quality and how the bits break. Just a fyi there was about a handful of both subjects I read. Then I started thinking, all drill bits break, that's why you can never have enough or too many. They're hard to remove & return to and from the case? Sorry but what a bunch of pu**ys. They're tools, get the sand out of your v and man up. Bought the bits and my husband loves em. No problems, no complaints, no regrets. Skil is a good brand, don't always believe what you read.

Horrible product!

These tools are horrible!! Only bought a couple of months ago and the drill head just cracked right off the drill. Very cheap quality. Better off paying the extra money so you don’t waste any money on these.
