I think I got the idea to use these as a party favor from someone else's review on here. But wow, what a great idea that was! My 8 year old son had a birthday party at an indoor gym in the Seattle area. I was considering making up standard goodie bags for the 23 children who attended. I didn't want to give the typical little toys that break within 2 minutes and then end up in the landfill or fill a bag with a bunch of sugary candy. These balls were my answer! I received them so quickly after placing my order for 4 sets. Awesome speedy delivery! The balls come flat so you must take some time to pump up each ball but it literally took a few minutes to pump each one. Then I took a big black Sharpie marker and I put my son's name, 8th birthday party and then the date and also wrote "thank you for coming!" on each ball. After the fun ended at the indoor gym and the party was about to end, I gave each guest a ball to take home. The children were thrilled. It's been 2 months and we still have a few balls at home that my kids play with regularly! I have 3 boys and they play HARD and these balls have held up wonderfully. The writing is still clearly seen on each ball too. I will admit that one of our balls is kind of slightly not round anymore but I think it's because my kids sit and stand on them while watching tv. These balls are a great buy when you purchase in bulk like this. I'm telling you, give these as a party favor! Your guests will love them!

Sturdy 8.5" kickball

I bought 3 "sets" of 6 for Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child shoe box gifts. Since we mail these deflated, I cannot say how easily they inflate or how durable they are. The ridges on the ball I'd guess make for an easy grip (as with a basket ball). The colors are bright and beautiful. However, the pack of 6 do not come with a pump--not 1, not 6. It's a great price w/o the pump, but you should know out of 3 xs ordering, no pump was received.

Great bargain

I chose five stars because the price was fantastic, the quality was very good, and the colors rich and deep. I purchased a 'used' set on Amazon which had clearly just been shipped and returned but never inflated and used. So I was even happier to find the my set was in brand-new condition and such a great deal. I had read previous reviews so looked carefully for wear and tear on the balls - there were none. I was able to inflate them with a very inexpensive (less than $10) ball pump to test for leaks - there were none. These balls were purchased for dodgeball and kickball for children and adults. They have been used once so far for this purose for a two hour game on sunny, hot, and humid Oahu. I had them for about two weeks previous. They stayed inflated and had no cracking or leaks to this date. I would definitely recommend these.

Obviously not for outdoor use. All of them cracked and won’t hold air after 2 months. Very disappointing. Do not recommend if you plan to use them outdoor.
