Great product works as intended
I really like these door covers, but I will say that they are impossible to remove once you add them. We have a 18 month old who is curious as a cat. She consistently goes for the door knobs and we had to buy these as soon as possible. Once we figure it out that she was not going to stop. They are extremely easy to install with just a simple click from each side of the knob. However, I may have to take a sort of them to get them off because once they’re on their very very hard to get off. That may be a good thing when you think about it because they will definitely not come off for a young child. I would much rather they be difficult to remove then too easy

Great for elderly snooping in-laws AND Toddlers!
I purchased these door knob covers to install on early 1900's Sargent Door knobs (older mortise style door-knob & locks). These door knobs are commonly found in New England on early 1900's houses. My door knobs measure 2-1/4" outside-diameter, and 1-1/4 thick. These are the "updated design" Safety-1st knob-covers (vs the older version from about 2016). This "newer design" version will work on the 1900's Sargent door knobs without modification (unlike the "older design"). I've tried the "Jool Baby Products" knob covers and the "Dreambaby" knob covers, but neither of them will fit on the larger diameter Sargent 1900's door knobs, but the "updated-design" Safety 1st knob covers do work. Installation is fairly easy, but remove is more difficult. I usually need a flat-blade screwdriver to remove them, which is probably a good thing (since my 6 year-old son can remove some of the other types of door knob covers without tools). My 4-year old son isn't able to get past these knobs (yet). when installed on the 1900's Sargent knobs, due to the small grip area on the 1900's knobs. Also my 65+ year-old mother-in-law can't open them either, but my wife and I don't have any issues with them.

Absolutely works
This grip works great to keep your little one from opening the door. We use them on exterior and interior doors. Easy to install and easy to remove.

Hard to Remove
These were easy to install and they do what they are supposed to do, but I will say that they are difficult to remove! Wish that were a little easier.

My toddler hates it
Recently my 2yr old figured out how to work round knobs, he figured out the flat knobs faster than the raptors in Jurassic Park but that's not really an issue because those are just bedrooms. He tried the round knobs but couldn't work them because of his little hands and the deadbolts are usually locked to go outside, which he can't reach yet. Or so I thought...we were playing outside and I told him it's time to go in and of course he threw a fit because going inside that late in the day means it's almost bed time and he wasn't done playing. Well, I went to get his bath ready and he decided he's going back outside without me so he moved one of his chairs to the door climbed up and managed to unlock the deadbolt, which he hadn't even touched before then, move the chair out of the way, open the knob, unlock the storm door and make a break for his swing. I swear my kid is an evil genius. Luckily I heard the door open and ran out to find him spinning on his round swing yelling at me to spin him faster. I ordered these while he was in the bath. Luckily he hasn't figured out how to open the door with these yet but he has figured out that there is a little knob in the front hole that he can turn to lock us out...a spare key had to be made...evil genius...

Works so well, the adults have trouble
Very basic and simple product. I had trouble unsnapping it to place on the door knob. So far, my kid has not figured out how to open doors with it on. In fact, the adults in the house couldn’t figure it out at first. Definitely took us a few tries. I would recommend.

Hard to take off
These work great, but are tricky to take apart. Took my husband and I about 25 minutes to get it off the door

Until the day they figure it out
We've used these on our doors now for all of our kids. It's wide enough that our toddler can't just turn the handle but small enough that my 6 year old can open a door with his small hands. My biggest concern was while trying to separate the piece to attach it to the handle I was afraid of breaking off small pieces.
