Not a 'C', but it worked.

So no local place has these - they have the plastic ones or adjustable ones that cost 5x as much as these wood ones. Amazon didn't have any 'C' size that were priced in the realm of sanity, so I figured I'd order a 'B' and a 'D' and see if one of those would work. D was way too papa bearish, way to big a hole and way too large. B was a little too small though. Figure I'd just make it work though - widened out the hole some and pounded the heck on the file and it fit - like a glove.

Necessary

If you’re going to actually use your files, these are a must have. Be aware that there are multiple sizes and get the correct one for each of your files.

Very Good File Handle

I've had a number of files that needed handles. I purchased this brand in a few different sizes. They fit very well. Good size grip. Should hold up for many years.

For only $2 for a file handle, I guess it is time to stop making my own!! Good price to value, recommended.

For many years, when I needed a handle for one of my files, I would shape one out of scrap wood and be good to go... ... however, now with the ability to get a quality handle, complete with a ferrule, for only $2 - I think my days of spending an hour or so of my time to make a handle are over. These are not perfect, but for the price they MORE than do the job. You could make your own, but for $2 and the time savings of doing something more fun than making a handle, then why would you??? Highly recommended as long as they stay in this price range.
