LOVE THIS SPRAY!!!
This spray is a repellent conditioner. It smells amazing. It’s perfect for your hair after a lice treatment because it conditions your hair when you need it conditioned. The smell is amazing as well.

I guess it works
we used this because my kids are in public school and I trust nothing. I suppose it works because they haven't gotten lice, but then again it could be because they haven't been around anyone with it. There is also a very distinct smell to this product so we used hair perfume over it because its a little overpowering.

Great preventative spray
It's always nice to find something from a known brand that's been around for a while. Nix has been trusted for many years. This combo of a shampoo plus a preventative daily spray is a great find. You hope you never need it but glad it's there. I was especially interested in the preventative spray. It contains citronella oil so it does kind of smell like that. Perhaps skeeters will stay away as well? That will be nice! I haven't used the shampoo yet and really hope I never have to but it's there should the need arise.

I ordered the Lice Prevention kit which arrived quickly and looks as it does in the product images. I recently had found out about a lice situation in my daughters class - and not long after I happened to stumble across this product, so I was thrilled to try it out. Its been a full month of using the spray and I haven't seen any (I comb through her hair using the included comb to check) I imagine by now the problem has been fixed, but I have been continuing to use it in her hair just in case it's being overlooked. The spray doesn't have a terrible smell, but it is hard to put my finger on a common scent to compare it to. My daughter doesn't mind it as an addition to her normal hair routine, which I felt was something positive to note since she is the one wearing it. NIX Is a popular lice control brand so I trusted this would be a good/safe product and was not disappointed. The comb I feel Is just as important as the spray, and with how close the prongs are, I felt quite confident if there were any that I would find them without issue.

Works well!
I've used this brand before and really liked it. It gets rid of the little enemies before they have tune to do real damage. It's your typical sort of application into the hair so quick and painless!

Hope to not need it, but...
It's the kind of thing I want on hand in case I need it, because I wouldn't have time to order it! This appears acceptable for a holistic-type chiropractor like myself...it smothers the lice with mineral oil so the ingredients don't appear too harmful for humans. The shampoo has lauryl (laureth) sulfate, which I generally avoid in personal care products, but assuming I would only need lice shampoo for a short time, I can take it. There's also the generic "fragrance" on the label, high up towards the top of ingredients. So if you're super sensitive like me, but not allergically triggered, should be a-ok for short-term use. Which I do not want to need to test, but really appreciate having this on hand just in case! The lice prevention spray uses an essential oil blend which I appreciate, although without a child going into an active lice setting I'm not sure where this will come in handy. If I need a lice prophylactic (or know anyone whose kids do) will check it out.

Smells terrible
This smells like a very strong citronella candle. My kids refused to let me apply this again because they said everyone around them could smell it.
