Super convenient

These are my new go to! I have sensitive skin and a lot of detergents irritate my skin so having a good free and clear is a must. These are super easy to use and I love them! Highly recommend

Scent-free and Hypoallergenic!

I'd previously used this brand a few times, typically their liquid product that is sold at Costco. It's really convenient that you can just toss in a detergent pack and be on your way! I feel like these clean my clothes just as well as the Tide I'd been using previously and I like that there is less waste. At their current price, this comes out to about $0.28/load, which isn't bad but is certainly on the high side if you were to shop around for a traditional liquid detergent that is on sale. I use this one an LG front-load HE machine and have no issues.

Plant based ingredients that won't irritate sensitive skin

I don't normally opt for fragrance free products as I do prefer scent on my own laundry. However, fragrance free is much, much better for sensitive skin, children's clothing, and pet bedding so I do buy it for those purposes. These detergent packs are simple, environmentally friendly, and super convenient to use. Just pop 1-2 packs (depending on the size and soil level of your laundry load) into the washing machine and.... well, that's it! No measuring, no mess. The packs dissolve completely and there is no evidence of them left behind when removing the laundry from the washing machine. While they don't leave any fragrance on the laundry, they still do a great job at cleaning, removing stains, etc. My husband's workout clothing really stinks so I was hesitant to try these on that kind of smelly stuff due to the fact that they are fragrance free. However, I really wanted to put them to the test. They cleaned just as well as any other scented detergent pac that I have used and didn't leave any funk or odor behind. I have tried these with cold, warm, and hot loads and have washed bedding, pet blankets, delicates, adult and children's clothing, sweaty workout clothes, etc. Everything came out squeaky clean! The recyclable boxes are awesome! I LOVE that they don't use any unnecessary plastic for the packaging. A lot of times, those large plastic tubs that other brands of detergent packs come in aren't even recyclable in our area!!! Such a waste!!! When the package was delivered, I noticed that there was white powder on the bottom of the box. When I opened it, one of the packages had white powder literally pouring out of one of the corners. Yikes! Several of the packs were damaged during shipping so just be careful when opening!

Freakin’ miracle is what this is!

Can plant-derived laundry soap made in a carbon neutral, water neutral, zero waste factory running on renewable energy possibly be as powerful as the big name brands? Why yes, yes it can! These have no discernible scent to me, they aren’t died beautiful but unnatural shades of blue, red, or green, and no one would confuse these with anything remotely edible. What they DO have is cleaning and odor neutralizing power! How do I know? I’ll tell you: A pile of dirty sheets and a very special grandma-made blanket had been balled up by my child at some point and shoved into a dark crevasse behind something in his closet. Why? Because he spilled chocolate ice cream on them and didn’t want me to be mad that he had broken the “no food in your room rule and had been eating a bowl of ice cream in there. He says he meant to wash them, but forgot they were hidden. So for at least three months I wondered why we seemed short on bedding, and looked everywhere I could think of. But there they sat, dirty, until my elderly and sometimes incontinent cat found them. Repeatedly, judging by the smell. I was in his room this morning to wake him up for school when the undeniable odor of cat urine nearly bowed me over. Once he confirmed that he hadn’t moved the kitty litter box into his room, I investigated and found the offending items. Stained and stinky beyond belief. I’m not gonna lie, I thought they were ruined. But I washed them only once in cold water and just one pack of this detergent, then dried them outside in the sun. The chocolate stain and smell are both gone!! So yeah thanks ECOS, for helping save the sentimental blanket, sheets…and the planet.

Works

These seem to work fine, have been using them in my laundry. You just pop one in the wash before you put the clothes in. They are nice size pods, but if you have a heavy load you can throw two in. They don't seem to have a strong scent, I haven't noticed anything. The clean my laundry just as well as any other detergent I have used.

Convenient, powerful, scent-free laundry detergent

The ECOS laundry pods are fabulous! I love that these are mess-free. My children do their own laundry, and I frequently have to clean up detergent that gets spilled. My children often use more detergent than necessary, which gets expensive fast. These pods make doing laundry so much easier. I love that they're self contained and pre-measured, so my kids can just pop one or two in the drum of the machine and start a load. There's no mess and no waste. While they're unscented, they get nasty smells completely out of laundry. With other detergents I sometimes struggle to get the scent out of dishrags, even after washing in hot water. However, these pods do an excellent job of neutralizing scent, even on my stinky dish rags. I like that these are reasonably priced, come in small packages and are carbon neutral. The fact that these are hypoallergenic is a huge win in my book as well.

Great simple laundry detergent

We used Ecos brand liquid detergent when we were using cloth diapers for our babies, as it's one of the best on the market for sensitive skin and always did a great job. We don't have babies in diapers anymore, but still prefer a more natural detergent. So I was excited to find that Ecos now comes in pod form! The little pods contain powdered detergent, not liquid. There's no scent that I can tell, no artificial anything. These are super handy for using in our camper, as you can take just as many as you need for a trip and put them in a small storage container that takes up very little space. Instructions say you can use just one for a normal load or two for a heavier/dirtier load. They do a good job getting clothes clean and I appreciate that they are Earth-friendly. Like them a lot!
