Powerful suction

We are accustom to a heavier vacuum machine, but this compact vacuum holds it's weight. Powerful suction and no more bags to deal with. For the price, it is great.

I had higher expectations...

Like my headline says- I just had higher expectations. I've never gotten another vacuum besides my hoover I've had for years. So, i was extremely excited to try a new one! This is a canister vacuum that's priced fairly high, and I was thinking this would clean my floor like nothing I had ever tried before. That wasn't the case. I don't have much bad to say about it but for $189 canister vac I was just thinking it would be better. Some Pros- There are 5 different attachments. I love having all those options. To be honest though, I've tried three so far. They all worked well but the pet attachment is a little tricker to clean and maintain so I didn't want to deal with that one yet, to be honest. I love how light weight it is. For once, I'm ready to whip out the vacuum over the broom no matter how small the mess may be. Love how big the canister is and how much dirt and debris it can hold. Like the big button on it. Love any vacuum with a retractable cord... Although this one was the worst one, I've ever used on a vacuum. I had to kind of feed the cord myself. The cord is long! You can adjust the suction. Cons- Firstly, the noise. It's so loud, it's ridiculous. As I said before the retractable cord is great... when it works like it should. Mine is so frustrating on this vacuum. Nowhere to store the extra attachments. It's big! The hose is big, and the 5 Attachments means it takes up a lot of room.

Lightweight but loud and cheap plastic, instructions and features lacking

This is an okay vacuum - it has good points and bad points: THE GOOD: - Good suction, and the infinitely variable speed control is a nice feature. - Lots of attachments included; The Pet Powermate attachment works really well, and has a nifty head that has little rubber spikes that "rake" pet hair out of our entryway carpet runner. The floor attachment has a high/low adjustment for carpet or hard floors. The crevice tool is very short, so be careful shoving it into a couch and having it slide off. - The canister is large and holds a lot of debris. It is also easy to remove and dump. - The inlet HEPA filter attached to the canister is likewise easy to remove, and is washable - which is a big plus, keeping overall replacement filter costs down. - There is a notch in the exhaust cover to store the floor attachment, which keeps the wand upright. This can save space when storing the unit. - The entire vacuum is fairly lightweight for a canister-style vacuum. It is easy to carry and maneuver. THE BAD: - Plastic feels cheap. I know this helps save weight, but I'm concerned that certain pieces may not hold up over time (like latches and hinges on movable/removable items). - The attachments are all friction fit onto the hose and wand - no locking mechanisms so the metal wand tended to fall off if not jammed on tight. - Even on low power, it's VERY loud compared to similar bagless vacuums we have. - There is no way to store the attachments on the canister. A simple removable holder attached to the sides of the canister handle that the attachments could be pushed on for storage would make this a better package. - Pet Powermate attachment works well, but no instructions on how to disassemble it for cleaning. You have to turn a collar to unlock the clear cover, push the red button on the side down, rotate the inlet head upward, then pivot the whole clear portion up and out. I included pictures showing how this is done. - Product description and instructions differ for the outlet filter description. There is only a simple thin white sheet foam filter on the exhaust cover. The product description states "...expels clean air through the outlet sponge". But the instructions show an outlet grid-style HEPA filter, similar to the inlet one included with the vacuum, and the canister body appears to be molded to accept one that is rectangular (about 110 x 135 mm?) - but it would not be the same size as the inlet filter. If the exhaust air were HEPA filtered like the inlet air, this vacuum would be a notch above others. The instructions need to be updated to clarify the exhaust filter is simple sheet foam. - Neither the instructions nor the manufacturer's website list replacement filter part numbers. This should be defacto standard for any replaceable filter device. Amazon does carry replacement input and outlet filter replacements. Overall, this is just an "okay" vacuum - I feel it is overpriced for the number of negatives described above. There are other "name brand" bagless canister vacuums that are much less that feature similar/better features.

Decent canister vacuum

Overall this is a good vacuum, its easy to move around and does a decent job even at picking up pet hair. The automatic cord is really handy, and probably my favorite feature. Unfortunately the cord is quite short, so get ready to either change outlets pretty frequently or use an extension cord. Its quieter than our upright vacuum which is a nice change, but you still won't want to use this while someone is sleeping in the house. Its also pretty easy to empty and clean, and overall I'm happy with it. The biggest thing I'd like to change is the cord length, but at least there are ways to work around that. Suction is acceptable, though I do feel like it does sometimes struggle on thick carpet. Works nicely on stairs, which is probably my second favorite feature. Overall its a good, affordable canister vacuum.

Super suction on this unit!

I will say this unit really has a lot of suction power. I like the fact that I can see exactly how much it has picked up when I empty the canister. I will say this design is nice in that you can easily get under furniture, beds/table/etc with the canister design. I am concerned about the longevity of this long term. Since I received this as a vine member, if this doesn't last years, I will not be terribly disappointed. The reason why I am concerned is the black plastic suction nozzle seems to be very flimsy plastic. I hope I am wrong and this holds up well. I am single, so I don't have a bunch of kids running around and banging into it. I do give this 5 stars as a sweeper as it really does that job well. My house feels super cleansed every time I use this.

Ok vacuum

This is a "you get what you pay for" vacuum. I bough this to strictly use upstairs to keep from carrying my heavy vacuum back and forth. It works ok, but it is nothing special. After spending the money and having an expensive vacuum, it's hard to go back to using a mediocre one. This one is worth the money and an ok vacuum.
