Make sure you want single vs double chamber

The product appears to meet its design requirements, but for me it just didn't work. THIS IS MY FAULT, not that of the tubes. Our pool surround has a slight slope to it. We've used the Robelle tubes for years with little problem (well, except for the small leaks that develop over time). We needed more, so ordered more.Unfortunately, we didn't look closely enough at the description, and instead of ordering our usual dual-tube configuration, we got these single-chamber versions. With the slight slope, these just roll right off of the pool cover. The dual chamber units do not roll.

Buyer Beware

I don't know what this company calls "Deluxe" but this certainly are not. The tubes are very thin vinyl, flimsy and weak and after the recent cold weather 4 of them began leaking. Of course the leaks were in the molded corners so it was impossible to patch. I just threw 4 of them away. These were a waste of money and I would never buy them again.

Horrible!

Horrible! The male plug was bigger than the female hole. Defective product. I had to use a heat gun to soften up the plug in order to shove it into the hole which was still very very difficult, and I am a big strong guy. After heating up the plug I still had to use a lot of force and a screw driver handle to forcibly shove the plug into the hole. It took 3 hours, a heat gun and a lot of force to finally close 6 of these ballast water bags. The final fit was not good since the plugs were bigger than the holes. I hope that the water does not leak out. Robelle uses different Chinese factories to source these water bags because in previous years the plugs fit better, were a slightly different color and the bags were black, not dark gray, but still the bags did not last more than 2 years. This is not the first time I had a problem with Robelle products. Their previous 30' x 50" solid winter pool cover was paper thin and leaked right out of the box. My wife and I are busy and don't have time to deal with this. This is the first review I have ever posted on Amazon. I wish there was a different source for these water bags.
