Easy to use and works well!

I found this product to be excellent for helping my adhesive wallpaper in the areas where it was pealing up. And it stayed soft so additional use on another project went well.

Sucks

Its not the totally worst of similar priducts I have seen over the years, so I gave it 2 stars but this stuff does basically nothing that it claims it does. It works after multiple coatings. Which is time consuming. The first bit you put on it just peels off in a half hour and the edges of your wall paper you are trying to repair just look like they did when you started. After applying the next three times to the same place and then standing there holding it down with a phone book against it for ten min. It started to hold a little so I put just a bit more at the edge of the seam and held that for ten more min of what seemed like eternity and it finally stayed.....but a week later was already starting to peel again so this stuff is just cheap trash to me basically. I mean if you have a small one patch job and you dont mind applying this stuff again and agin for days then its the product for you. If you want something that works fast and holds till you get your moneys worth then buy something a few bucks more. Also this tube is half empty and so your getting what you pay for as its half air and half paste and its also nothing more than elmers glue in it. The fact is this stuff is not at all commercial grade, not even close which is why it works about as well as a monkey humping a football.

I am changing my review, after using suggestion from prior comments

I used some of the suggestions and it worked much better, than the initial try. If the paper is very stiff, moisten it first, to soften. Wipe dry. Apply glue. Wipe off the excess with a moist cloth and roll seams flat. Go back about 30 minutes later and roll the seams again. The glue seems to work better after about 30 mins. I am going to also try another suggestion, to tape the glued seams with painters tape. it says after 24 hours, Make sure to roll the painters tape off very slowly.

Decent product

Probably the best product on the market for repairing old wallpaper seams. It worked fine but I had to work hard to make it stick. In the end, it did!

Seems to last good

I have vinyl covered panels in the ceiling and the edges start rolling occasionally in this Old House. Seems to last well I've used it before and needed more. It would be helpful if they had a longer point to go with it. If the point was longer you wouldn't need to tag on the portion that is coming unglued you could just slip the tip under it and then mash it back down.

Glue was dried out

Both tubes that I bought were so old/ drying out!!! it formed a ball inside the tubes.
