My husband loves this shirt for hiking, says it will be great for fishing. The material is comfortable, he can move in it, its ventilated, keeps his skin covered from the heat of the sun and keeps the chill off as well. Will buy more shirts from this seller. I ordered a large for him.

Un visible hilo oscuro quedó en el pliegue del bolsillo y no se puede sacar sin romper la camisa.

Es cómoda, de peso ligero, con protección solar, un tanto larga de más en mi caso. Lo que no me agradó es que dentro del pliegue del bolsillo derecho, hay un visible hilo oscuro que no se pueda sacar sin romper la camisa, les ha quedado allí y se ve muy mal. Adjunto la foto.

OK after some alteration

The material is what I have been looking for and the shirt is comfortable in the hot weather today. I spent a half hour cutting off and removing the pocket flaps, the black Columbia logo above one pocket, the bizarre straps inside the sleeves and the string loops outside the sleeve. The OMNI-SHADE logo stamped on the left sleeve would not dissolve with bleach, so a black laundry permanent market eliminated that. After the hot weather season is over here, I will take the shirts to a seamstress to cut off the excess cloth at the bottom so the shirts can be worn untucked with a square bottom. Untucked shirts in hot, humid weather increase their effectiveness. So other than all the useless and wasted material on them that was eliminated, these shirts meet my needs very well.

Comfortable but starting to pill

I wore this on a 10 mile hike with a fairly light backpack and after the first hike, the back left side of the shirt started to pill pretty badly. I'd expect a short staple cotton to pill like this but not a synthetic material. The shirt is really comfortable and light weight, but not very durable. I like how it fits me. It's not too baggy and it's nice that it has 2 buttons for the wrist. Sometimes I like a little bit more space for my wrists when it's hot, but when I need the sleeves out of the way, I can button it a little tighter. I don't really care for the strap to roll up my sleeves. Sometimes I can feel it tumbling around and it's not very comfortable. I can easily roll up my sleeves in a way where it'll stay up so I don't really need the straps. I just cut them off and it's much more comfortable. Other than the durability, this shirt is really nice. It's good for day hikes if you're not wearing a backpack.

Very breathable--great for humidity

This shirt performs as claimed. I tried it on a 12 mile hike, with miserable weather (92 degrees + 67% humidity). I was comfortable, did not get a sunburn, and it dried quickly. I also like that is it quite long. It will not pull out of your pants no matter what type of physical activity.
