Not bad

Not bad, it has a long cord and I was able to wrap it over my grow tent frame and to hold the grow light bulb I have. I may attach it to a timer, I like the cord being long so I can move it to another outlet should I add another grow light for my vegetable plants. Works good so far, happy :)

Super Long, Mid-Point Switch

I got these with the idea that I was going to make my own light fixtures, but I only ever ended up using it as-is. I do have to say that the cord stayed nice and white even though my place gets a lot of dust. It also never broke, even though I often closed the door on it and stepped on the switch (to turn it on and off) daily. It wasn't the most elegant thing in my place, but I was surprised at the quality for how little I paid. My only gripe is that the switch seems to be in an odd place; it seems to be perfectly in the center of the cord, instead of being 3-5 feet from the plug. I'm assuming most people have the cord lifted up the wall, if this were lifted the switch would be near the ceiling, rather than chest height (like most switches). I'm a heathen and just leave it dragging on the ground, with the light-bulb end just dangling from a hook in the ceiling. This leaves the cord piled up, and the switch laying on the ground, if I tap it with my foot it works really good for turning it on-and-off. It still seems kind of poorly thought out though.

Just what I needed.

My house doesn’t have outlets on every wall and this is just what I needed for my plants. The 20ft cord came with everything pictured and was very easy to install for my quick fix. Now my plants get the light they’ve needed. I’ve seen some reviews saying the switch was on the wrong end but that wasn’t the case here.

Excellent, high-quality lights!!

This is a very well-made lamp with a long cord. The switch is very near the plug. I use these lights for everything! I have some in my crawlspace, in my attic, in my garage, and in my chicken coop! These lights are very sturdy and are not cheaply made. I also purchased the JACKYLED brand lights from Amazon, and even though those are more expensive than these, I prefer the quality of these Simple Deluxe lights better (they are very similar, but these seem a little heavier-duty).
