Excellent helmet!

The media could not be loaded. I have a couple of these helmets and let me tell you they are durable! These helmets were build with longevity in mind. Awesome product with an affordable price. I do however find it a little hard on the top of the head that is why 4 stars. If there was just a little more cushion it would feel a bit better!

Great helmet

This helmet is great. Bought it in a size small for my 12 year old son. He said it’s super lightweight and the padding in the front makes it very comfortable.

These have been standard for decades for a reason, they work.

Teaching the kids to skate meant I get to relearn stuff too so helmets for all. The most important thing to learn early is falling as no matter a skateboarders skill level they fall. This is my favorite style of helmet as it protects the back of the head great, which is likely to get whacked when rolling out of a fall.

Saved my head the first day out!

So I am a spry near 40 year old. I decided to take up one wheeling. Turns out there is a learning curve. I hit the road at 21mph and the helmet deflected any severe brain damage..... depending on who you ask. Great helmet, Super slim and lightweight.

Fits like a glove and great looking

Ordered this helmet along with a few other brands to compare. One of the other ones was certified and one was not (note that this particular helmet is not certified so it lacks the styrofoam insert). It does however have an excellent foam insert. Because it’s not certified it’s for low impact hits/crashes. I knew this when purchasing so I knew what I was getting. I’m using this for standard longboard skateboard cruising so I don’t need anything more. Whether you go with a certified helmet or not is really dependent on what you will be using the helmet for and personal preference. As soon as I tried this helmet on, I knew of the three I had ordered that this was going to be the keeper. It literally fits like a perfect sized glove on my head. So comfortable and it sits nice and low unlike many helmets that sit high on your head. As a result it looks great and you don’t look like a mushroom head. Which means you’ll be more likely to wear this helmet. Who wants to look like an extra from Space Balls? This is a really great helmet with adequate protection for what I’ll be using it for. If your going to be riding an e-board or biking this is probably not the helmet for you and you should probably consider Pro-Tec’s certified helmet which usually runs about 20 bucks more.

Great helmet, cool looks!

I bought the full cut Extra large version of this helmet first with the ear protectors. The full cut helmet is pretty tight on my head. My size is about a 7 3/4. That's my boonie hat size. The chart states that the the extra large accommodates 7 1/2 so I knew it was going to be a tight fit. I bought this half cut helmet to see if it fits better than the full cut one. It does fit a little better but still snug on the temples. I haven't used it for bmx applications or any other sport so I don't know the protection level. I read a review where a gentleman said he has a big head too and he used a 50lb weight to flatten the cushions then put them back in and claims the helmet fits good. So inspired, I put the cushions under 6 cases of bottle water under a metal plate for 3 hours. When I took the cushions out and put them back in it still was snug. Perhaps I need to ask the dudes paving my road if they could roll over my cushion pads one time for me. Overall it's a good helmet. The velcrow holding the pads to the helmet might come off. It is hot where I live so the sticky back velcrow got weak and came off the one connecting the back pad of helmet. The looks are good though. I got a Bell helmet that makes me look funny but fits better. I often wear a helmet when I go walking in case a branch or something falls down. With the bell helmet, everyone just stares at me and ignores me when I greet them thinking that I'm weird. With this helmet it sits lower so I look cool and people say hi to me. I bought the full cut version because that's what the NAVY SEALS use when boarding ships and maritime missions so I wanted a proven helmet.

Awesome helmet! Quick delivery, it was exactly what I had ordered and a perfect fit. Price was very reasonable as well. As suggested, I did measure my son's head to determine size and it was accurate. I highly recommend this product for teens and adults.

Meh...

Doesn't fit that well. I'm constantly lifting the front of my helmet up. I've adjusted the straps accordingly, and they just choke me out SO BAD. Wish I did not buy this helmet. Buy S1....

I would give this 5 stars if it came with foam inserts to help fit different head shapes. I had to make some changes myself to it to help it to fit right. But once I got it right it is comfortable and actually quite light weight.

Great helmet. Good looking and comfortable too. Very light and easy to fit. I guess not only to skate but for my mountain bike :)
