The company is junk but I do have a good mailbox post now

I ordered and received the mailbox post just before the weekend I planned to install it. I got some with work a bit early on Friday, so I began. To find the exact spot the post needed to go into the ground, I laid the post parts out for rough assembly to take measurements. At this point I realized the parts did not fit together correctly and it seems I was supplied parts from two different kits. It was 4:05 PM central time on Friday, and I found out that calling their customer service was a no go as they closed down at 5 eastern.... 5 minutes before my call. I understood and packed up for the weekend. I emailed their customer service with a full detail and pictures. In case their email server blocked it due to pictures, I also went through their "contact us" form on their website. Monday afternoon I'd still not seen s response in my email from either communication, so I called in. After an extended wait I got a young man on the phone and described my issues. He was nice and understood. He asked me to send an email to an email address that was not at their company domain, but I assume they are outsourcing their call center. After waiting only a moment, he told me "they are timing our calls and I HAVE to hang up. Someone will call you back from that email". Fast forward a couple more days and I still have not heard a response from anyone at the company. I went ahead an contacted Amazon customer service. They shipped me a replacement based on my issues. The new one arrived quickly and all the parts seemed to fit together perfectly! My issue was that it was missing the hardware.... the screws, nuts, bolts,etc. I had not shipped back the first unit yet so I checked to see if they are actually all the right parts. They were. I contacted Amazon again to let them know that I was scavenging parts from shipment 1 to make shipment 2 complete. They told me to just throw whatever I didn't need away instead of returning the original shipment. From that point, assembly went very well and the mailbox post looks great. I don't know that I could recommend this product to anyone considering 2 bad shipments... but it also now looks good and seems solid. I'll update this after a year or so to indicate how it ages over time.

Good Post, hope you don't need help from Kingsley Park customer service

Purchased late June 2022, box was delivered by UPS with one flap open (Picture attached). This prompted me to check the contents of the box. All the part were in the box, but after careful inspection I noticed that part 134462 (Parts List Item “E”) has some molding imperfections (two picture attached). I suspect that this Mail Post was returned to Amazon because of this defect. Sent email and pictures on July 5 to cs@KingsleyPark.com, requesting they review the part E picture to confirm that the part’s finish is not to your manufacturing standard. No response re-sent July 29, no response. Tried calling support, waited on hold after 15 minutes I hung up. I recently installed the post, which was easy, very good instruction. Included with the post was hardware to attach a mailbox (purchased separately). The recommended method is difficult and required 7/16 deep socket. I’m satisfied with the mailbox post, but wish I received a response from Kingsley Park customer service. My overall rating of 3 was due to customer service issue.

GORGEOUS!!

So so glad we decided to go with this mailbox, elegant and lovely!! The white on white is the nicest color combo in my opinion. My husband dug a hole and put a Home Depot bucket it in to stabilize and then filled with concrete. Could not be happier with how it came out! Would recommend and definitely would purchase again!

Looks great and easy to install

It was very easy to install over my original post which was made of 4 by 4. Read and follow the instructions when installing. My post was shorter than required, so I just added a short piece of 4 by 4 to it to make it taller. It was not a big deal at all. The installed post looks great. Yes it is plastic, but is very well made and and sturdy when installed properly.
