Not bought to hold tea leaves.

Bought to hold small parts while they bathe in a solution in an ultrasonic cleaner. James Condon (of YouTube fame) recommended this product for this use and I believe he gave good advice. Joe

Package update needed DESPERATELY

Package needs to be better. Like everyone else, mine arrived completely smashed into a disc. I was able to "unsmash" it and it still closes. Haven't used it yet, but seems good to go!

Perfect size for spices

I bought this mainly to use with some spices, like mustard seeds and the seasoning package that comes with a corned beef. I don't want the seeds in my broth, but I do want the flavoring, so this is just perfect.

I really should have bought a bigger one.

For making a cup or two of tea it's fine, but I was wanting something more along the line of 4 cups. I ended up getting a 3", but that's a bit large for the mouth of my tea pot. A 2.5" would be about right.

Latch bent on first use!!!

Disappointing quality. The latch bent on the very first use. I'm pretty sure it will break off soon. You might as well just get one at the Dollar Tree.

light weight

Items arrived on time and appear sound though I assume because of use they must haveto be constructed so "delicate"? Concerned about longevity of the clasp portion. very inexpensive though so...we'll see.

Decent Infuser

Works fine, just wish it was made with a stronger material. The clasp that keeps it closed bends very easily. I have used it twice and it has already bent. Not sure how long it will last.

Not good

The clips don't hold tight enough, and the tea leaves will leak out. I tightened the clips but they still ended up taking apart. Poor quality, not recommended

I used it for my stupid Bosch dishwasher!

My stupid Bosch dishwasher has an underrated pump that sucks in bits of food and plugs up the pump lines. (ayes, I rinse the plates first, but it still gets plugged up) Frustrating. This tea ball is just the right size to help filter out some of the gunk so there’s less work for me with a shop vac. The little clip on the side and the chain are just right to keep half the tea-ball in place to act as a filter screen. It doesn’t work perfectly, but it helps save some time. True to size - just about a 2” diameter.
