Feeling safe in the shower while washing

Having to take a shower when you can not stand safely is a very difficult job to accomplish, however, this shower chair makes it an easy core to accomplish. The chair gives you easy access to your body for thorough cleaning while making you feel safe while doing so.

Easy to Assemble a great fit for my shower and my body.

Easy to overlook the details of the instructions to assemble. Take your time. It is easy to assemble if you take your time to absorb the details. I mistakenly took a misstep or two and had to restart.

Alleviate your bathtub suffering once and for all!

I bought this for my girlfriend who has a herniated disc and can't stand up for very long. She used to have to really rush in the shower because she just couldn't stand it in there--not anymore. She tells me that this chair has made a huge difference in the quality of her life and only at a fraction of the expense of her dignity (sadly there is a stigma about using and having a product like this, especially for people under the age of "old"). The adjustability of the unit is really nice. You can take the back off although I'm not sure why you'd want to. I was quite impressed with how sturdy this thing is in the tub. It absolutely does not move unless you want it to move. That is impressive. Do make sure you measure your tub before you buy this as it will not fit some narrower tubs. My old lady is grateful for this because she doesn't have to suffer in the shower anymore. If you're not so hot on two feet (or what have you) and something as easy as taking a shower just isn't easy anymore, treat yourself to some stability with this chair. You'll be amazed at how much better your life can be with one simple change.

Good purchase

I recently tripped & fell in my basement, breaking my hip, which meant showering was awkward and painful after surgery. As there are no hand-holds in or near my bath tub, I needed something to assist me to handle this by myself. With the purchase of a clamp-on hand-hold and this chair I now can enter and exit the tub with relative ease and the necessary safety/security for a senior. The seat is relatively comfortable and the adjustable legs make it easy to fit to the tub bottom. I put it together while seated in a chair by myself so very easy with one exception. After wondering why I couldn't make the legs level, I realized there are 2 lines of adjusting holes on each leg spaced slightly differently so it was a case of setting each leg to match so it didn't wobble. Would highly recommend.

Don't hesitate, buy one

Sitting on a bath chair has made showering so much easier, with my chronic fatigue. I wish I got one sooner. If you've been debating getting a shower chair, just get one. I do find I sometimes lean to one side when cleaning and sometimes the chair will start to tilt in the tub. I've never come close to falling over, but it sometimes worries me.

Excellent chair

Very light but feels sturdy. Be sure to measure the width of your bathtub as it did not fit in the bathtub upstairs but will fit in the basement bathtub. I knew this before I ordered as I measured so not complaints from me. Thank you for a quality product.
