Perfect size, works on induction and everything else

Great for big soups where you need some extra headroom for greens to cook down. Really like the design with a slight taper. Works great on induction and the price is really good if you can wait for a sale. Lid is glass with a steam vent, which some like and some don't.

Well made

I am graduallly replacing non-stick cookware as they get scratches. This pot is heavy duty, and good quality stainless steel. Easy to clean.

Extremely fine pot

A robust pot that checks every box. Doesn't take up a lot of cabinet space, but it gives you all volume you need for every soup in the book. Would buy again!

Nice pot.

We purchased this so when we cook vegetable soap I have the ability to make more without using a second pot. The pot heats up quickly and holds the heat so you can turn it way down and just let it cook. Great purchase and we will buy more Viking products in the future.

Love Viking

I love my Viking pieces. They require less maintenance than my other cookware and the quality is great. Although they aren’t the cheapest options out there, the quality is excellent for the price so I think they are a great value and they will last a very long time. This stock pot is large and sturdy. I was all my pots/pans by hand and this is a bit cumbersome in the sink because of its size. I wanted a 6 qt stockpot but couldn’t find a proper one that was priced right. So I decided on this and I’m very happy with it. It takes quite a long time to bring up to boil which is really the only thing I wish was different but that’s because of the thickness and quality of the material so I’m not complaining.

Sturdy Tri-Ply construction

Like all Viking pots and pans, this is high quality. I prefer it over All-Clad. The over all look and style is nice and because it is tri-ply it conducts heat very well. I specifically bought it to replace an anodized aluminum 8 quart stock pot because it can go in the dishwasher. Which when I have a party or host thanksgiving is almost a necessity as so many things pile up to be hand washed.
