Didn’t help…

I bought this infant insert because I thought if I bought the insert that is made for my baby’s swing it would be the best but I should’ve gotten another insert because this didn’t work for me. It’s not enough support because it doesn’t help hold my baby’s head in place, she still slumps over to one side. Waste of money.

Soft and comfy for newborn and a necessary add for my little one

This insert is really simple to attach to the swing (just loop the straps from the swing into the holes). I like how soft and fluffy it is, and it provides really good support for newborns. My daughter is only two weeks old and weighs around 7.5 pounds. Without the insert, she sinks into the chair too much, which makes me nervous. Depending on how quickly your little one grows, I think you can use this up to 12 pounds or so - or really whenever you want to remove it as they get bigger. I really like that the material is easy to clean - which is quite important at this stage with potential blowouts and whatnot. Definitely a needed purchase for our swing as I wanted to be able to use it right away. Also, I am a huge safe sleep advocate. Please, please don't let your baby fall asleep on the swing and leave them there. At this stage, there is a high risk of positional asphyxiation. As soon as they seem drowsy/sleepy, transfer them to a crib/bassinet/pack n play, on their back. Swings are not made for sleeping (there are warnings on the product about this as well).

Great Buy

These mamaroo newborn inserts are great! I like the reversible sides so you have the option of what flare you wish for your baby to rock in. Definitely worth the purchase and I recommend purchasing a few to change out during the occasional blow out.

Wrong color

I ordered a yellow color and it came in purple. The product is great but the color is wrong.
