Works, but not solid on the quality.

While the ball, pole, and screw work perfectly, the curved metal piece used to keep it in place is much to flimsy for practical use. The metal is quick to warp and was not something I trusted. I simply kept the curved piece and screw from my previous one and had no issues with the replacement from there.

This 6” is too small

Need help the one I ordered is too small the one I have is the size I need, anyone would know what size I need. This one I brought didn’t work at all because it’s too small

Try to nail down the ball and rod dimension!

My drain stopper said Pegasus, an old Home Depot brand. The old ball was about 1/2 inch diameter. I wondered if it been worn down a bit. Anyway this Danco item was perfect, the ball about 1/2 inch diameter. The rod fit was also perfect. It is puzzling why the stated dimensions on this part seem so misleading. The Moen replacement did not fit. Ball too big.

An aggravating but inexpensive repair part

Minerals in our hard water caused major corrosion throughout the bathroom sink drain assembly, so we needed this replacement part to get the pop-up drain “popping” again. I wasn't sure of the faucet brand so I took a chance with this Danco ball rod, which looked pretty much like the old part. We did finally get this to work on our drain, but I can’t say it was easy. Very aggravating getting the rod perfectly positioned so that the drain pops up enough but then also closes completely when down! We were working on a pedestal sink so we actually had pretty easy access to the work area; if your sink is inside a bath vanity it would be even more of a hassle. Plumbers make quick work of this type of repair, sometimes it's worthwhile to just pay someone else to do things!

Does not include gasket/washer

The item did the job but shocked that it did not include any washers/gaskets. Make sure you get yourself one of those before attempting to install it.

Easy to install.

Not much to say other than it works and was easy to install. Back story: The original had rusted out and the stopper got stuck in the down position. Of course this happened in the upstairs bathroom that I never use. My kids would simply use the other sink instead (dual sink counter). If one of them did use it by accident they would leave it full and let gravity eventually push water through the stopper over the space of a day. Then one day I was upstairs and noticed a full sink. I asked my kids about it and they said no one is supposed to use that side and that they weren't at fault for it being full. Seriously. That is what they said. "Don't use that side". Teenagers have about as much common sense as Neanderthals. It boggles the mind.
