QUALITY MASSAGER

I use my massager to massage my feet, calves, and shins after running. I am totally pleased with the product. I'll mention some of its features that I was unclear about when I was considering purchasing it. 1. It is 16" long and so can reach those hard-to-get-to spots. 2. the attachments are hard, smooth plastic that glide easily along the skin. 3. Each of the attachments have a screw-on feature that screws onto and off of the base of the massager. The product picture has the round attachment already screwed on. 4. The massager can only be used cordless. After fully charging the massager when it arrived I have used it repeatedly and have not needed to recharge. It has a battery that has plenty of power capacity. The hefty weight that some mention in their reviews is for the most the weight of the battery. 5. The speed/intensity is controlled by the rotary control at the back of the massager. It operates the massager like a dimmer switch operates a light fixture, a gradual continuum from soft and gentle to more rough deep tissue massaging.

Just Do It

I purchased the Wahl handheld massager a few weeks back to address pain in my shoulders front and back as well as my upper and lower back. I came from a fancy brook stone massager that died out on me so I was in need. The look of the device is sleek, simple and a bit masculine. It has an easy to control ball scroll for the intensity. The controls light up a nice and cool looking blue color as you use the device turn on. I noticed the extra long handle that comes with reminiscent of a shower scrub with a long handle. It works great for hitting the lower back and feet which was the best part for me. You receive other heads with the unit and each one does something specific as it relates to massaging. I mainly used the deep tissue and spot ball massager after going through the heads. I didn’t need anymore than these two attachments. The device is a bit heavy once you pick it up and may have to use two hands. I opted to use a friend to hit part of my back since it was so heavy and I couldn’t hold it the right way. The massage feeling itself is amazing and goes toe to toe with my fancy Brookstone massage I came from. Whatever level of soreness, tightness and or pain you may be experiencing there is a setting on this is unit for you. I would want to make it a bit lighter if I could but the massager does such a good job I can easily overlook that one negative. The charge time is reasonable and will let you know once it’s completely charged. Once your done charging and or using the massager it packs away nicely in the provided bag. I would definitely recommend this Wahl massager to anyone looking to feel relief and not have to leave the comfort of their own home or office

Cordless

This massager is not as good as the corded version but it still has the roller control for the intensity of the vibrations like the corded version which is very important to me. This massager doe not have the same range of the intensity of the vibrations as the corded version but still has a bigger range than massagers with a click button type of vibration settings. The big problem with this massager is a design flaw in the cord chosen to charge the unit... Instead of a simple round plug in they used a weird rectangle notched pronged plug. It's not easy to plug the charging cord into the unit and when you do plug it in, the plug pushes in on the unit, like the charging port is not as secure as it should be.

A more portable percussion massager

I had an old corded Homedics, and I never would have considered buying a cordless one, because I was concerned about power. This machine is plenty powerful. It’s super quiet; on the lowest setting it’s barely audible. I’ve also never had it run out of batteries, even after 10 minute sessions trying to work out a tight back. The percussion action is plenty powerful. Definitely as powerful as my corded Homedics. This unit has no problems doing its job. There is no question this machine delivers as promised. It does what it says. It is a bit long and heavy. This means that even a medium session might fatigue you. As you become more relaxed the machine gets heavier. I wish it were stubbier. Also, it’s hard to push the massager into a muscle just holding the handle alone. You have to move your hand up the unit to really press it in, and the upper portion isn’t shaped for a good grip. This unit is expensive, but I haven’t cross-shopped other cordless massagers. I might not really know how much a cordless massager costs. The box is really nice and it comes with a storage bag, which is wasted on me (if I own it, I’ll be using it, and I won’t be storing it).

Wahl Deep Tissue Cordless Handheld Massager : I totally enjoyed the massager because the multiple attachments to choose from depending on the areas I choose to massage , for a deep down tissue massage, with various speeds to choose from , depending on the pressure points of pain I have on different areas of my body , to relieve the pain and stress on my body . The unit has a long lasting battery charge , which charges quickly , so no waiting long periods of time . The only wish I have , is I hoped it would be lighter in weight , when holding , since the whole unit in use is a bit heavy. But all in all , it is by far the best massager I have ever used , since the versatile attachments , which can be used in all areas on the body ,for a quick relief of pain and stress . I was very relaxed when my session was over after using the Wahl massager , and my body felt the deep massage this massager gives off after using for my pain and gives me the relaxation and stress relief I need so the pain points are at ease. I love how it is cordless so I can use the massager anywhere I choose , for a quick massage.

Good quality item, but function could be better.

If it moved side to side and not in and out, the massage would be nicer. when using it on your back or neck it can end up making things worse as it just bounces off you and holding it in place hurts. If it moved side to side, the massage would be more effective, but the pads punching into you doesnt help. Its built really good though, definitely a quality item but the function needs work.
