Well worth the price

Don't know what the strap is for. Knob on end helps stem from rolling off cutting blades.

50/50 chance of getting a dud

Ordered 2 of these and got 2 different clippers. Both came in identical packaging and the same model number. The "avocado" clipper works fine; it's greased well and the spring is strong enough to open it back up. The other one just has straight blades. Even after I greased it, the spring could not open up the arms and you have to manually open it back up, slowing you down. Tried to save money by buying two online and ended up getting just one good one. See picture; the one on the left is what I expected to receive both of. I will not buy this product again.

Item arrived missing the leather strap! Second replacement unit arrived.... Also missing the leather strap. Corona version is much lighter and has better (lighter) spring force.
