Expensive but haven't tested bug repellent properties yet. Bought M/L - socks look very small. They are stretchy and fit when stretched. Do not know how comfortable they will be or if they will bind the foot. Color is a medium grey looks white in the picture online.

Warm and comfy but not bug deterrent
If you’re like me and mosquitoes love you, then anything resembling the sentiment of “bug repellent, deterrent, avoidant etc” is appealing. Pros - socks are comfy, warm, & aren’t itchy. Cons - a mosquito landed in the space where my pant leg ended and the socks began. Literally a 1.5 inch space of skin where the rest of my body was covered. It happened in slow-mo of seeing the mosquito land on my lower shin/upper ankle & then my hand coming into slap it all while yelling “WTAF! I’m wearing bug repellent socks!” Soooo yeah, I’m back to square one of finding bug repellent socks/clothing.

Perfect fit, comfortable, 63% wool
These fit perfect for my size 9 feet. They are very cushioned and comfortable and the bonus is that they are bug proof. When I travel I usually treat my clothing with permethrin; these socks are travel ready. There is a high wool content but these socks are soft not scratchy. Highly recommend!
