Attractive, well-made sneakers from LifeStride

Found these on sale and decided to buy them for around-the-house shoes, but they are so pretty and so well made that I'll probably keep them for wearing out this summer. I usually wear 8.5 or 9 and bought these in a 9, which fit me perfectly. They are a bit snug in the toes... a wide width would have fit me better I think but not an option, however I think that once I wear them, they will stretch out a bit. They were wonderfully packaged as you would expect a good name brand to be... LifeStride cardboard box, the toe boxes packed with paper and cardboard forms to keep them intact, and a paper rod inserted the length to keep the heels from getting crush. The way all shoes used to be sold. Amazon shipped them in a plastic bag. And speaking of the heels these shoes are very rigid, so they are easy to slip on and off while still somehow remaining comfortable. LifeStride advertises these as a support arch, but I really don't think there is much in the way of an arch... they seem rather flat to me. But overall, very happy with them.

compfprtabUpdate- they washed very well. I let them air dry. I love these shoes!

I bought these to wear indoors. Since working from home I just dont love wearing slippers. Ouside dirt from shoes does rub dirt and grime in the home so I thought these would be great. I love them so much I forget and have worn them outside. Easy to clean the bottoms with a cloth. I will try a delicate wash and air dry. I bet they do well.

Be careful with fit

These are cute shoes, and I wish they had fit. I returned them, though, because there is no give in the material across the instep despite the stretchy bands on the sides. If you have high insteps like I do, you will want to try something different.

I love these shoes. This is my second pair. the arch support is just right. They wash well and hang dry. I love these shoes!

Comfortable as a bedroom slipper but very ho-hum! Good everyday shoe for around the house.
