good weighted vest

i am short so it is difficult to find a vest that works. this is large on me, but i like it anyway. like the adjustable weight sandbags as well. have been walking 3 miles regularly.

Great product, but....

This is really a great product, for what I assume is most people, but I exclude myself from that group; I returned mine. I have had a GoRuck rucksack (i.e., an overpriced bookbag for years. Part of that time I used bricks for weight but switched to the metal plates several years ago. I wanted something that distributed the weight from just the back. Saw this, reviews looked good and I ordered it. I did just what I wanted BUT, for me, it was bulky as the weights are thicker than the plates. Not sure if that makes sense. So what I am going to do is get one of the vest that uses metal plates and give that one a shot. The vest appeared really well made, was easy to change weight, and easy to put on and take off. Someone mentioned in one of the review I read that it smells funny. There is a scent, to me it smells like new plastic and comes from, what I think, is the material to make the weights.

Not the weight listed, also received a completely different Item.

There a 5 weights that are given, each being 2.8 lbs each. There are 4 slots in the front, and 5 in the back. I am not sure how at all this is 40lbs, but luckily I bought this assuming that much. I use this for running, 40 lbs is a huge amount for running. 15 lbs is plenty enough for something like that. This is also a very sturdy jacket, it is blue, and sits on you like a ballistic vest. Relatively tight which was the only thing I cared about for this purchase. The weights are also steel blocks if that matters at all.
