Good for price

I live in one of those old houses where the toilet is jammed between the shower and a cabinet, with only about 10 inches of space on each side (shown in pic). I wanted a toilet paper holder that didnt need to be drilled anywhere and could be easily tucked away when getting in/out of the shower. This basket set isnt specifically advertised as a TP holder but I was able to modify it to make it work. First off, as a basket, these are cute but the wood handles (dowels) are cut way too short to carry them anywhere. Even when just sitting in place, moving anything in or out of the basket causes the handles to fall out of their slots. I ended up cutting an old wooden broom handle to fit better in the slots. You could also use a 1” thick dowel from HomeDepot. Then I unravelled the twine from the middle of the discarded handle, and I used hot glue to wrap it around just one outside end of the dowel (pic) that way, the dowel never falls out from that end and I can easily pop out the other end to change the TP roll. The storage space fits about 3 of the basic 1-ply rolls. The smaller basket can easily sit on a self or countertop and only fits a few loofahs or facecloths. The price for this set of 2 was about the same as a single basket anywhere else. I only subtracted a star because the handles do need fixing, whether using as a TP holder or a basic basket.

Great baskets!

They both work great for what I wanted them for. I thought they were a bit expensive but there are 2 I guess. They look great in my bathroom. The one I use for toilet paper holds 3 large rolls and one on the handle. The smaller one works great for holding a hand towel. I would definitely but again.

Too short handles

I really liked the idea of using these baskets as toilet paper holders. We're having our bathroom remodeled, and I thought they'd look too cute. The set is cute, but the handles are so darn short. They come out every time you try to unroll the paper. Rather than than be frustrated having to put the handles back in the holders, I sent them back.

They apparently didn’t like being confined to a box

The large basket is much larger than I expected. Yes, there are dimensions online, but it still surprised me. Also, they STINK! I had to put them outside to air out for a few days before I brought them in. They apparently didn’t like being confined to a box. Appearance - very nice - exactly as pictured. They will fit nicely into my beachy living room.

Works well in my bath. Love that you get larger and smaller size as my guest bath has limited room Love that I can store 2 to 3 spare rolls
