Just takes a little precision
I liked the chunky look to these 5” numbers so I ordered them instead of going with the skinnier option at Lowes. The pictures show how I used a contact paper with grids to help ensure they lined up. The manufacturer has added a printed guide in recent years. I know this because the 5s were older and did not have the template so I had to make one. The others had the template. I had to buy spacers from Home Depot (Lowes and Menards did not have the size this needs) so that I could offset them from the house evenly. You could also put a piece of wood under the number when installing them if you prefer. The Lowes numbers included spacers so I hadn’t expected to go to 4 hardware stores looking for the right spacer. The one I used is shown in the photos, but if I did it again I would go with a 1/2” to have it more raised. I did not use the anchors or caulk - I made sure the drilled holes would make a tight fit instead. They’re not going anywhere!! I covered them in painters tape and used a rubber mallet to hammer them in. Hope this helps!

Looks nice but difficult to position
Looks good but I was not happy but I found the installation difficult. The spikes in the back are randomly placed and I found it difficult to situate the numbers properly relative to themselves. FYI the threads in the back are 10-32 in case you want to bolt them to something instead.

Detail-oriented buyer beware, some digits vary in size/color/finish
I’ve purchased 4-total numbers from this seller, only needing two, the additional ones were in hopes that they’d finally send me a pair that matched - The seller is combining 2014-stock and 2020-stock in the same orders without the ability for the customer to know what they’re receiving – this is a problem because of the great difference in the sizes/quality of the castings used as well as the type/color/sheen of paint. These cannot be used side-by-side as they look like different products mixed/matched together. The seller will not send you the items pictured in this listing for the numbers ‘3’ or ‘5’ (**) until they exhaust their remaining stock of 2014-runs that were less than stellar in manufacturing quality. (They will be _thinner_ as well as shiny, *think gloss car paint*, vs. the matte black bold numbers pictured here.) If they maintained the same quality as the 2020-editions and didn’t attempt to bait/switch I’d be a happy customer - as others have stated, local big box stores don’t have the selection/sizes for larger numbers, so I was happy to find these, just need them to match the pictures posted by the seller for all 10-digits available. (**Note the review/pictures posted by user C. Hlusak, ‘15485’, both ‘5’s are darker in their pictures, in person the contrast is much more apparent, this isn’t limited to my experience)

The numbers are perfect! But the mounting hardware is not color-matched. I bought them in black and the hardware was something like "zinc platted" or "silver". I mounted them with a "floating effect" and the hardware were very "flashy" in my design. So I spray painted in black before mounting. I mounted them on a rough wooden board, stained with Sansin DEC stain, to give a rustic look. With the modern appearance of the numbers it gives an excellent result. One star lost for the color of the mounting hardware.
