I am guessing that the surface of this rolling pin is perfect for fondant not to stick

I was looking for a smooth surface rolling pin for clay project and this one doesn' t do for me. It' s hard to pick up that detail in the picture. I am guessing that the surface of this rolling pin is perfect for fondant not to stick ? I went and bought the acrylic rolling for clay.
