Very good Product!

This looks great on my layout being pulled by my Bachmann Percy the Small Engine with Moving Eyes! Although, a set of wheels came out once, but it was an easy fix.

Things are not all they seem...

This mail car is definitely a must buy if anyone needs more mail cars for their Thomas and Friends collection. However, if you hadn't bought any by now (2011 to be exact), then there is a slight change in the exterior areas where 'Sodor Mail' used to be. If anyone kept track of the CGI series (I'm sure some people have and regretted it), the only change that's on the mail coach where 'Sodor Mail' used to be and there is a picture of a mail envelope with wings. However, if you don't mind these changes, good for you. If you do, well try going into a shop that sells the physical goods without having to guess whether or not you'll get the classic model. For me, I just have a biased opinion on this lot, but I wouldn't want to go to full detail as such.

Good Addition

My Grandsons like long trains so I bought several "Thomas" cars to go with the HO scale starter set I purchased for Christmas. The only problem I have with this item is the problem I have with the set--it is difficult to uncouple the cars. I devised a tool from some flat aluminum stock to insert under the couplers which I can use to un-couple the cars; however, my 5-year-old Grandsons find it difficult to use. They find it frustrating, but they haven't broken one yet. I guess that's good.

Not opened yet, but so far so good!

I was extremely surprised to find that this train car was delivered BEFORE the first estimated day of delivery. VERY quick, efficient service, that's for sure. I ordered 3 of them, and they were safely packaged and look awesome. They are not, however, out of the packaging yet as they are to be used for a Christmas gift. I will add to this review once I get them out and on my train tracks with Percy.

Beautiful Mail Car

This makes a wonderful addition to our train. The details are very nice and the quality is top notch, which is surprising these days, given that most everything made today is such poor quality. Not these Bachmann Thomas and Friends trains, though, every car is made with such care and will last many years. We buy a new car every year, and this Mail Car was our Christmas 2013 pick, and we are very pleased. It's such a nice bright red, that we placed it at the end of the train, like a caboose.

but it still works and my son love it still
