Only brand I buy

Since Wetzler went out of business Bessey is the only new clamps I will buy. Pony/Jorgensen make nice clamps, but I don't like the clutch mechanism on their bar clamps. These things are durable, exert lots of clamping pressure, and have larger threads so you don't have to crank on the handle as much when tightening. I have several sizes of Bessey clamps - Bessey TG7, Bessey TG5 & Bessey TGJ. You can never have too many clamps!

Strong Deep Clamp

These clamps are very heavy and clamp with great force. I have needed a pair of deeper reach clamps and I am not disappointed. Was glad to see them on sale, so I feel that they were a great value.

Heavy duty and just heavy

A quality item. This was heavier than expected, so I ended up using something else, but keeping the clamps since they are so well made. I'm sure I'll have use of them soon.

Big and heavy

I should have read the description better. I didn’t expect it to as heavy duty as it is. It is large and heavy. I didn’t need the clamping force but needed the reach. I could have used less force. I m keeping them because of the construction and name.

When you need jaw reach and clamping power -just buy it!

I needed to fasten some exterior trim to the middle of a large cabinet. I used headless pin nails to position the trim, but I used two of these to clamp the 3/4" x 2.5" Oak trim in place from each end of the trim piece. These clamps worked flawlessly and gave me the proper gluing pressure over the length of the trim piece that I needed. Simple to set and simple to remove from the workpiece. The handle is really nice compared to my older Bessy clamps. Pros- Its a Bessey - Made in Germany 7.5" jaw clutchless design Heavy main clamping bar great clamping pads - removable for replacement. The pads can be "secured" with some double side tape if you REALLY need to otherwise, they work great and have yet to fall off for me. Bessey is the only clamp maker that makes large jaw clamps Things some might consider Cons: ( I don't) Cost - well you can complain about the cost all you want - but you CAN NOT complain about the quality of this clamp - Quality vs Price - pick your poison (I choose quality) This clamp is a specialty clamp - when you need it you really need it and cost is no longer an issue to get the job done right. Heavy - Sure it is heavier than a 3.5" jaw clamp for obvious reasons. I will be ordering more as I have another unique cabinet project coming up. Bessey also makes these in the 16" size , so I will pick up a few of them as well.

Vraiment solide

De loin les meilleurs Serre-Joints que j'ai acheter. Avec une profondeur de 9 po et une longueur de 48 po ils sont vraiment solide. comparer a ancien modèle ils ont ajouter une petite patte près de la vis d'ajustement pour qu'ils se tienne debout tout seul. Comme les autres dimensions commandé, il manque encore les coussinets de protection. Reçu un de correct et deux manquant, c'est plate.
