Usable with a little help

Purchased 5 pack with 1/4-20 through hole. Threaded bolt fit 2 of 5 no issue. 1 of 5 took some force, but i could get the knob on the bolt. The bolt would only thread half way through the hole for the other 2 of 5. Used a tap to correct the through hole and then all 5 worked properly. If you do not have a tap to fix the threaded hole, do not buy these.

Pretty Good

These work. They seem pretty sturdy and thread on easily. I’ve tried them on threaded rod from the hardware store as well as a couple different styles of bolts. The threads didn’t feel very snug on most of those so they may back off under vibration, if they aren’t tightened down well.

They are quality manufacturered, and 1/3 the price of the local hardware store.

Good knobs. Much larger than expected.

These seem like decent quality but are quite large for a 1/4 inch thread.

Cheaper and as good as the big box store

Nice quality in these heads, the threads go all the way through, not just partway like some. They fit and worked as designed. I'm using them for some picture frame clamping jigs.

Needed to tap one of them. Didn't thread

One of them didn't thread easily so I had to run a tap through it. Fortunately, I had a 1/4-20 tap laying around. If you habe a 1/4-20 tap laying around too, you'll be fine. If not, buy one on Amazon.

Just what I needed!

I'm building a CNC Router and needed to hold the Router motor to the Z axis. I used the to hold the split ring clamp I made together and they were large enough to handle easily and small enough not to get in the way.

Use these for a number of fixtures in my woodworking shop.

These are sturdy and work great for making fixtures in and around the shop. I will probably order more when I make my fliptop workbench.
