WONDERFUL alternative to plastic lawn bags!

These compostable lawn and leaf bags are just wonderful. They are made of a heavier weight, or denier, than are the biobag food garbage bags (which I also gratefully use), but they have the same virtues: they are not plastic, and they WILL break down. This latter feature means that you should not store them away for future use. Use them now! They do indeed compost! I love them. I couldn't stand the idea of adding plastic to the planet during my garden clean-up. This is the better alternative.

Disappointed

I was so disappointed in these bags. I have lots of leaves that I need to send to the trash as outdoor burning is not allowed in our area. The bags tore with just the touch of a finger and they split down the sides, all seven I used, and the leaves poured out. I had to get other bags and regather the leaves. I wanted to do something good for the environment, yet I ended up doing the work twice and using twice the amount of plastic bags.

Item sent is not the amount I ordered and paid for.

I love this product and it's what the city of Houston requires but I paid for 60 bags. Only one box of 5 bags was delivered. It was delivered in a timely manner and nothing is wrong with the one small box we received but it's not the 60 bags, I ordered. Please advise as there is not a place on your website on the returns to state this.

I bag in each box has holes in it so you get 4/box cost 1.37 ea versus 1.10 as advertised

I purchased these bags for Earth Day Clean Up. Waste of money. There are advertised 5 bags per box - but one bag has holes in it so you can only use 4. Cost per bag is not as advertised.

Not as good as my garbage bags.

Before they have a chance to biodegrade, they lose a third of the collected leaves. There is no bag closing system like the plastic trash bags have. I used a couple, therefore I cannot send the rest back. I will not buy BioBag again.

Slightly too small for my 120L organics cart

Slightly too small for my 120L organics cart. While these bags are approx. 125L, they are slightly too small to comfortably fit as a liner for my 120L organics cart that gets picked up for municipal collection. Recommend to the manufacturer to make them a gallon or two bigger to help with that! Otherwise they are decently strong bags.
