This cushion has a truly beautiful padded, waterproof cover!

I ordered this cushion to put in one of the faux wicker beds that our cats use frequently since the original cushion (padded cotton and batting) had fallen into disrepair very quickly and could not be washed without damaging it. I am very pleased at this new product! It is not only easy to remove and put back on (with several zippers, no less), but it also appears to be waterproof. It is the perfect oval size for our kitty bed and is slick to the touch. In order to make it warmer for our cats in winter, and to protect it even further from getting soiled, I have covered it with a microfiber fleece pillow case, but in summer, it can easily be used "as is" given its cool texture and plushness. I highly recommend this padded mat for your pets!

Cleaning is an issue

I’m conflicted on this review because the bed is very nice (just as pictured, soft, nicely made) but I had issues cleaning it. On day 1 my puppy peed on it and the instructions say to machine wash and reshape as needed before drying. But the foam in the center section was so curled up when it came out of the washer that I couldn’t get it to lay flat, so I ended up cutting a hole in the bottom so I could reach in and make the center foam flat again. I got this in gray and blue and had the same issue with both. It would be great if there was a zipper so you could access that center piece of foam without having to cut the bed like I did!

Cover Removal

This is a water proof and washable mat cover, however there one drawback. 1. The cover does not remove completely. When you unzip everything remains except the fiber in the ring. The semi-ridged bottom pad remains attached and is washed. Not too good. Minus one star for the pad cover. Plus four stars, the cover is water proof, wipeable, washable, and the quality is good.

It’s a good mat; not a bed

I purchased this 8-9 months ago. I purchased this to be her “mat.” She learned in puppy school to go to her “mat” to settle and when I’m cooking. It works well. She has the matching bed too, but seems to prefer the mat. It is thinner than a bed, but again, it’s a mat. All in all, we are happy with it and she tends to like it.

Very very thin

I bought the gray rectangle bed because it seems very durable, which for the most part is, but it was extremely thin. Felt like I could have saved some money by giving my down a lightly folded towel to lay on because that's what this bed felt like. For the price, it could have been thicker. I've had dog beds where it was a lot thicker, softer, and cheaper than this but my dog loves tearing up her bed so i opted for something more durable.

Not what I was expecting......

It's nice to have a light, easy to move from place to place dog bed but it is definitely not what I was expecting. The padding is very thin and I don't see it lasting through the wash. I bought this with my reward points so it was like getting it for free, but I would definitely not pay what they are asking. Not that nice.

Better than expected. No pollyfill for my dog to tear it up. Took him some getting used to. Had to put a small pet blanket over it for him.

Do not buy

This mat isn’t waterproof and isn’t machine washable neither the padding inside got all tengle up after just one Walsh I wouldn’t recommend that product

Our dog loves the raised sides. However we didn’t find that it had enough padding in the middle to use in his crate. So, he uses it on the living room carpet as his space and we bought a different item for in the crate.

There’s better products out there tbh

You get what you pay for. It’s pretty below average. Very thin, my dogs hated it and ripped it apart on the second day. You can’t remove the putter cover to wash it, it’s not water resistant... disappointed to say the least.

Decent for price

Nice materials but cheaply made, one ripped when I pulled the tags off of it. Cushion is not very thick. Price reflects quality.
