I bought new stainless steel appliances, but kept my Bosch 500 series dishwasher. I swapped out the black facade for stainless steel and bought this handle to match the new facade. It fits perfectly and securely in the opening, so I didn’t use the screws because I think that they caused the last (black) handle to crack at the sides.

Easy install and enhanced dishwasher appearance

The plastic insert that surrounds the recessed handle was cracked after 7 years of almost daily usage. I ordered the Bosch Hidden Handle Surround and installed it upon arrival in about 15 minutes. It is a real improvement to the front of the Bosch dishwasher.
