Can’t beat a Bucky neck pillow…

Long ago my grandma had a Bucky and I tried her’s and have been hooked ever since. This one is a replacement for the one I owned almost forever. My first one was teal in color with scarlet trim and it served me well but finally deceased. My new one is red in color and I’d have to remove it from my neck to see what color the trim is but I’m sure it’s an appropriate color. If your neck likes a bit of support, something that fits and not just some silly sofa pillow then a Bucky would be super. Get one, red in color if you like. I love mine and don’t want to be without it.

Supportive and comfortable

My mom looked all over and couldn't find a smaller neck pillow that was comfortable and still supportive. I came across this and bought it for her. It's small (which is what she wanted) but really supports your neck without getting in the way. I think this would be good for people who drive long ways.

Depends on what you're looking for

You're looking for a very firm pillow Then this one meets that expectation. However I was shocked to Discover how tiny this product is! It will not fit around a normal neck. Maybe it was intended for children and I missed that the description. But no this is not for an average size human beings neck. That said the quality is lovely. It is filled with buckwheat and is very firm and I feel like it will last a long time period but I do not use it for my neck as it should be used for the reason the state is above.

Neck Pillow

I like this neck pillow. I don't use it for travel because it's too short around the neck. I use it at night to help support my neck when I sleep and when I read. I had another neck pillow made of down feathers. It was okay but I sweat because the feathers kept heat in. This pillow doesn't do that. My neck stays cool throughout the night. The pillow is also very soft and comfortable, not hard like other neck pillows made out of foam.

It’s okay but not great

I had a Bucky neck pillow for 15 years that I loved and used all the time. It went on 8 round trip flights to Australia with me, took in the car for road trips, and used it sitting in the couch watching TV. Then it went walkabout, disappeared. So I bought I new one and was so disappointed when it arrived! It looks like it was made for a toddler, the “arms” don’t extend out around your neck at all. The covering is very soft and the fill is great, I like how you can adjust it to your comfort and not be stuck like a traditional foam pillow. It just doesn’t have the full support and I find that very odd. Now I just lay it behind my head when I recline on the couch and that’s it. It’s useable, just not as fully functional. I don’t understand why they made it so small or changed the design.

And 20 years later, I'm still a fan!

I bought my first Bucky (the purple one in the pic) back in the 90's at the airport when traveling on a red eye from Seattle to Florida. I work in front of a computer screen for 10-14 hours a day, so I tend to have a lot of tension in my neck. It was just OK on the plane ride, but what I eventually used it for was supporting my neck while sitting in my recliner. That Bucky eventually came to known as my "neck buddy" and everyone knew when the neck buddy came out that I would be asleep in just a few minutes. The Bucky has lasted all this time, but the cover is wearing, so I needed to order a new one. Based on other reviews by those who had also had their Buckys for many years, I was skeptical the new one would not be of the same quality or provide the same support. I was pleasantly surprised that my new Bucky does, in fact, give me the similar support. I do think the neck opening seems a little shorter (see pics), but maybe it's just because the older original one has stretched out? Don't know for sure. Regardless, it is still providing me good support and once it "comes out," I still go to sleep within minutes. I would recommend this Bucky for those needing to give their neck support.

Not to be microwaved

I had bought this item to replace a pillow I'd had for several years. I wrongly ASSUMED that the Bucky neck pillow was microwave safe; because of the zipper on the pillow, it is not. I will note that the web description did NOT indicate it could be heated. But neither does it warn that it cannot be heated in a microwave, as the shipped product did. After discovering this, I was refunded for my purchase, and the refund was relatively prompt.

Had one many years ago, lasted many years....Used to carry it around on all vacations, hanging off my suitcase...Worth the price....Lost one star cause I could not get a print or other color ....Keep up the good products Bucky....love ya!!!!

Check carefully what you would be using this for

Too small specially the two arms. It would be very good for airline travels but nowadays there is a limited amount of travelling done. So the pillow sits there on the sofa not being used. Disappointed. R

Love buckwheat pillows

Love buckwheat pillows! I took this on a trip overseas and it worked great. I'm not a huge fan of the cover, so I just switched it out for another cover I had laying around.
