Great little spot lighting for down a hallway.

I bought this thinking I would flood a small room with light, not so. These are more of little spotlights. They would work great as small spotlights for down a hallway, just not filling a room with light.

Really cool artsy look, not bright, perfect accent lighting

Very easy to install, awesome creative look. Not bright at all, but it’s perfect for showcasing art and pics and shelves, etc. I have it installed in a very small room with a low ceiling, and it’s still nothing more than accent lighting. Will not LIGHT UP a room. But for my purposes it was perfect! Happy with it.

BUYER BE(A)WARE

WARNING, be aware of light replacement issues. The 6 lights heads are wired LEDs, not bulbs. If a light goes out, the whole light head must be replaced. But worse, supplier Lucidity Lighting does not sell replacement light heads and will not provide contact information on the manufacturer. Under their 3-year warranty, they will replace the entire track system, not just the light head. So to replace a simple burned out light, you must remove the ceiling track fixture, return it, and then reinstall the replacement track system. VERY PRACTICAL! After warranty, you must either live with fewer lights or buy a whole new track system. Great deal, right? Too bad, because it’s a nice looking system, installation is straight forward, and provides good lighting. But too expensive for a system that might need replacement after 3 years because simple parts aren’t available.

Artsy!

I debated on where to put this light fixture. I originally wanted it to be straight and look like faux track lighting but the fixture didn’t straighten out the best. Although it CAN be straightened it’ll still have kinks and not look like it came that way. Overall, installation wasn’t too complex, and the Lights were brighter than I expected. Love this!!

Does not include GU10 LED bulbs as depicted.

I have a 2 year old Catalina 6 bulb track product. Two bulbs have already burned out and cannot find replacement heads. I ordered this product because product description shows that lights come with GU10 LED bulbs. I am thinking "GREAT" if a light burns out again, I can just replace the bulb with a GU10. This is not the case and the product description is inaccurate. When a one light burns out you'll have to replace the whole system unless you're happy with fewer working lights.

No additional lights

I installed this product and the Q&A section said you could purchase replacement / additional lights for this. I emailed the company, and they do NOT have replacements for this. Be warned that if a light goes out you do not have any other option but to buy an entire new string. I am giving this 2 stars, I like the look of it, but it was misleading with the Q&A section. If I knew there were no replacements I would not have purchased this one. LOOK FOR ANOTHER LIGHT FIXTURE - one with replaceable lights.

Do not buy if you are looking for long term effectiveness.

I actually thought this was a good buy. $187 and it was perfect, so I thought. I've had this less than 2 years, and right around the year mark, the bulbs started to go out. It is now August 2022 and only 2 bulbs work. I say BULBS, but THERE ARE NOT BULBS installed with this model, despite the Q&A section answering a question. I did send an email to consumer@evolutionlightingllc.com several months ago and received absolutely no response whatsoever. The "bulbs" are a hard-wire and I cannot find anywhere replacement "bulbs". My only recourse is to buy ANOTHER $187 unit in order to use the same holes drilled in my ceiling! I do not recommend this. It is far too expensive to be replacing every year and a half, especially with no support from the company. I loved the look and the brightness, but this was not a good purchase at all.

Don’t buy this

You cannot replace the bulbs. Not as advertised. We’ve had this for 2 years. Not sure how this could be sold by Amazon as something that can have the bulbs replaced when they clearly can’t be!
