Quality Control issues

I am writing on both the first and the replacement sets that were shipped to me. The first time, one of the five socket assemblies was broken and hanging loosely from the cord, and one of the socket rings was missing. Just could not tighten the thing up. Because of that, the lamp shade for that arm was not fixed and dangerously hanging along with the light bulb. Fortunately, the attendant at Amazon was able to help me return and replace it with the new set. When the second shipment arrived, the socket assemblies were sturdy but 2 of the 5 sockets were loose and there is no way I could tighten them. Luckily when I used the socket rings to fix the lamp shades for those two, with the help of my 11- and 8- year olds' small hand, I could finally get those 2 lamp shades in, after much effort. The other 3 were easy fix. I thought Malaysia would have good quality control in manufacturing, but I guess I was wrong. I will take one star off for having to ship back (I almost decided to ship back the second one, but I will keep it). I will take one star off for the loose sockets in the second set. So, three stars...sound fair? ALso, I wish the description would contain something that denotes the size of the socket. I had to wait for its arrival to know it uses light bulbs with small socket.

Great lamp for bedroom

Ive been looking for another multi head lamp with some warm lighting in it like the orange shade and some cool colors as well. I had one like this but the shades got burnt through by the lights bulbs. It will probably happen with this as well as the bulbs get very hot. This was very easy to put together. Note you will need the 25watt type b bulbs as these have a tiny bulb base. I just got an 8 pack off amazon for $9

Missing Parts

The multi-color lamp is sturdy and would be great except its missing a part. I understand the not coming with bulbs because there are many options that can be used. Unfortunately the connector that tightens the covers to the lamp, one is missing. It is a fixable thing after a trip to the hardware store. Too bad it didn't come complete.

Cute but wish it took regular bulbs

My only critique is it takes candelabra bulbs and not regular bulbs. Weird for a floor lamp in my opinion. Looks nice and easy to put together though.

Be careful what type of bulbs you purchase

Purchased this lamp for my son who is out of state and I bought standard socket 25Watt equivalent LED bulbs but found the socket is too large. Need to buy bulbs with smaller socket. He can't return but will find bulbs locally. Hopefully the lamp will provide much needed light in his room when the correct bulbs are purchased.

Not a sturdy floor lamp, but reasonable for the price

This lamp is bright and I like the flexibility of each individual light. It is a bit fragile. The plastic holding one of the light bulbs broke when I twisted the light bulb into it and I didn't over twist. I used superglue to hold the lamp shade in place. For the price, it's of reasonable quality.

Pretty soft light

Pretty and easy to assemble. Gives of a nice, diffuse light. Not super bright, so not good if that's what you're looking for.

Groovy-looking 60s style lamp

Easy to assemble, and appears to be reasonable quality. I think it has a bit of a 60s vibe, which I like. The only disappointing thing is it doesn’t come with bulbs, which it may have mentioned on the site, but I don’t remember. The bulbs weren’t cheap - at my Walmart I paid $15 for a box of 3, times 2 boxes, as it requires 5 bulbs. The type of bulbs I got are a yellowish light - bright enough, but not like a bright white light. I don’t yet know if the type of bulb the lamp requires is available in different types of light. But I like the lamp and so far have no regrets.

A bright spot in a boring room

When friends visit my son, they prefer to spend time in the living room, which is located in the basement. This room is spacious and clean, but the furniture is old and everything looked very boring. I bought this lamp and it was the right decision. This bright lamp has transformed everything around and the room has ceased to look dull.
