OEM Kit Works as advertised

If you have a duel fuel from Char-Broil, check the inside door for the right NG conversion kit. This is for the Medallion Modular Outdoor kitchen Stove/Griddle. Also Make sure you have proper gas flow (Meter may require an upgrade based on your other appliances. I had my meter upgraded. I have two heaters running, and just installed this kit and tested it. I have the double burner stove (this kit) and one for the 5 burner grill. It got to 550 degrees F in about the same time it took when it was propane, with the double burner on high and both heaters running. Proper meter and pipe sizing will ensure you get the best out of your conversion kits!

Defective pressure regulator. Gas does not flow.

I purchased one of these conversion kits for a brand new Charbroil Outdoor Kitchen Stove Top Model 463246218 I just bought from Lowes. They did not have the conversion kit in stock so I ordered it through Amazon. After I received it, I installed per the instructions and could not get the stove to light no matter what I tried. I didn't notice any gas smell so I disconnected the hoses and discovered that gas was not flowing through the gas pressure regulator. I then immediately ordered two more kits through Amazon. When I received them, I took the gas regulators out of the boxes and tried to blow air through each one and they were both shut off. These regulators are defective out of the box. Unfortunately, another Amazon reviewer had already reported this problem but I didn't read it until after I bought the stove. I then called Charbroil customer service and they wasted 30 minutes with me claiming the kit does not come with new orifices, when they actually do, as if that had anything to do with the lack of gas flow. After I finally proved to the rep that there were orifices, he told me that I had to get a professional plumber to diagnose the problem. Yeh right. I am not going to waste my money to hire a professional plumber to tell me that the gas regulator in the kits were obviously defective. My very expensive new stove is now useless because the conversion kits do not work.

They dont work

I ordered four (4) of these. Two of the four the regulators do not work. They do not let the gas through. And a third one is acting up already. Not worth the price or the money.
