Awesome light

This will be my every day carry light for work. Very lightweight, bright, and I like the dual power option. And the strong pocket clip is a plus also!!!

Mostly good flashlight but battery could be better

I use this flashlight working on cars everyday and it is very good. i’ve dropped it many times and it is fine. the brightness is perfect but my only complaint is the battery life is poor.

Perfect work light

Love this light, I work in steel fabrication and this is perfect for inspection and overall use. When using the lithium battery on HIGH it can often be too bright and cause reflection off the metal, I switch to LOW and it's perfect. I convinced my boss to buy them for the crew and they all love them, especially on night shift. The USB charging I thought would be a nuisance but is a phenomenal feature, you will never have to scrounge for AAAs again and never order them again. Durable as well, after 6 months it has never once hesitated to work. The size is perfect, skinny enough to fit around the existing tools in your chest pocket, and tall enough to be grabbed out of any pocket with ease. I WILL be buying this light again.

Terrific quick assessment torch

It's the perfect torch for my work, I keep it in my pants pen pocket for quick access and fast assesment of darker areas,then get a proper work light if I need to do more than a few minutes of work. The battery life is short on high setting, but that's the trade off for such brightness and compact size. I Have only had it a month but it's wearing well, terrific tool and was exactly what I was after. Will be looking at coast again for future buys...

Best value on a penlight!

I'm under trucks all day so I'm pretty hard on flashlights. I'm happy with the Coast for it's durability and brightness. A tech at the shop wanted to do a side-by-side comparison on brightness. His Streamlight looked yellow compared to the very white light on my Coast. I recommend this product

Decent but be careful for battery life

Decent size and weight so it’s easy to feel in your pocket and not confuse it with a regular pen/pencil . Bright output, not a big fan of the 3 settings though. Battery life is where you lose me. I inspect vehicles 10hours a day. My flashlights are constantly on/off and this one won’t last me more than 4 hours before I need to charge it. I have a back up battery powered light that lasts longer. If you do leave the light on for more than 10min. The pen housing gets incredibly warm almost hot. No other light I’ve used in the last 15 years has that issue.

Great flashlight! I wanted a dual powered compact bright flashlight and this fit the bill perfectly. Charge is acceptable and light is bright enough for all but very demanding situations. I work as an electrician in the film business- lots of running around all day and night so I don't want any extra weight or bulk in my tool belt. I can fit this easily in my tool pouch or pocket. I would and have reccomended this to friends and coworkers. Also love that you can get it in colors that you can see easily, especially in the dark if dropped.
