Admittedly, I knew these pads were inexpensive when I bought them - that is why I chose them. But I did not think they would be AS thin as they turned out to be. We were using them on a post-operative incision, to be changed daily. They did the job, but these pads were neither as thick (number of layers) nor as soft as the dressings supplied by the doctor (well, duh...). Still, I would have liked softer, thicker pads to be certain they could do the job of absorbing seepage, and also to be confident that the pads themselves would not irritate the wound. Color me (cheap) disappointed.
