Box is misleading

Packaging is different, but that's ok everything came as described. Horseshoes feel like they are a harder heavier plastic. Very satisfied for what I paid for

Better than I expected

I purchased this to play with my grandkids over a long weekend. They had a ball with it, especially the 11 year old. We were able to put the stakes in a sandy area and they held well. The horseshoes themselves are heavier than I thought they would be. They were heavy enough that they didn't bounce when they hit the ground but stayed in place. Because we were playing with younger children we didn't space the stakes as far apart as regulation. That could possibly make a difference in play. Have not tried them inside with the circles over the pegs, so I don't know how they will hold. As for the smell some people complained about, all I noticed was the new rubber smell when we opened the package, but it went away after a few minutes and I didn't notice it again. I am very pleased with this purchase.

used pegs

When I opened the package, I found that the yellow pegs were dirty and scratched. The rest of the items looked to be brand new. I'm O.K. with the used pegs since they will not interfere with game play. However, I feel I should have had a choice as to whether the product I received was new or used and offered a lower price for a used set. I'm happy that this was not a gift. I would have been very embarrassed to give someone a used gift.

Pet friendly

My dog was trying so hard to pick up our metal horseshoes and carry them around. I was afraid she would break a tooth so I bought these for her. She loves them and I’m no longer afraid to throw horseshoes with her around. ????

Cool product for in the house or outside

I purchased this for my 6 year old grandson. He had a hard time getting into it. I expected the actual horse shoes to be rubber, but they are a hard plastic. I do like the rubber stands. This can be used in the house or outside the house. However, if in the house, due to the hard plastic horse shoes, they would need to be tossed in an area where nothing can get broken.

great quality!

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and sturdiness of this set. highly recommend for kids/young players. We've used indoors and outdoors and it's held up great.

Good starter game for kids

Stakes are week but in sand they work fine. Easy assemble for indoor play or grass. Buy extra horse shoes.

Great shoes

I bought these for the ladies & the kids who have trouble throwing regulation horse shoes because sometimes they're too heavy for them to throw. Delivery was prompt. Looking forward to fun with the family & neighbors.

Plastic and light.

Bought this for senior play but it is way too light and impossible to throw like a horseshoe. For kids it would be a great gift 5-7 yrs. old.
