Absolutely exquisite BUT made for flat photos only

I've had a small miniature painting done on bone for 40 years. Never have found a suitable frame. I tried this one out (of course judging based on the photo posted at Amazon). Turns out the back - a gorgeous, polished wood - simply does not allow for a thickness of anything more than a photo to fit in the frame. My thin miniature IS thin, but not thin enough. I didn't want to risk having to break the hinges on this. So I returned it, and my miniature is still unframed. Still in it's original silk sleeve - probably for 40 more years.

Silver frame marred by chipped glass pane

Beautiful sterling silver frame, BUT the glass pane was chipped. As l had to present the frame as a gift immediately, l did not have time to return it and wait for a replacement. Instead, l substituted a glass pane from one of my 5x7 frames. I recommend strongly that when buying this product consumers check the frame and glass immediately! Also, Amazon should consider applying “FRAGILE” stickers to products with glass.
