Good product

The earlier reviews are correct. There is only (1) D ring per package. I originally ordered (6) packages b/c I needed a total of 12 since the site stated there was 2 per package. Once they were received, I only had 6--not 12 as anticipated. The problem begins with the manufacturer. The packaging clearly states on the front and back that it included a set of 2. On the contrary, it only contains one. I contacted Amazon and they were very efficient and took care of it. Despite the item description and packaging being inaccurate, Amazon sent the remaining 6 (12 ttl) to me at no cost. Regarding the actual product quality--for the intended use, they are good quality and I'm happy with the product. The load capacity matches the strength I need. Aside from the initial annoyance of not receiving what I ordered, I'm happy to know Amazon stood behind what they sell and corrected the situation with little hassle.

Does not contain two d-rings as shown in the picture

So I just ordered a few of these, and they are not really two d-rings as shown in the picture but a single d-ring. Otherwise they are pretty good for the price, they take a 1/4' bolt to secure and the ring it self is roughly 1 1/2" tall by 1" wide on the inside diameter; the bolt holes are 1 1/2" apart.

Seem Impossible To Know Whether They'll Ship 1 or 2

Aaargh!! After reading prior reviews, it seemed that the shipper had cleared up the "market two, ship one" problem. Not so. August 2011, I got a 6" cubed box with one unit. ===================================== Upgraded review to 4* because vendor is very responsive, and is sending out second unit. Still, not 5* because of this recurring logistics problem.

Package ONLY contains ONE D Ring

I didn't believe the previous reviewer. Shame on me. Only ONE D-ring in the package. Also, why drill two holes to mount this item when you can purchase a different D-ring that only has one bolt hole and is much more heavy duty. This item will be returned.

TWO D-rings in the package

Looks like the packaging problem that previous reviewers have reported has been corrected - there are in fact TWO d-rings in each package.

Excellent Product

These D-rings changed the usefulness of a pickup truck by allowing tie-downs that keep items from flying out of the truck of the bed. We wish we had gotten them soon. They are easy to install with a good drill.

Nice

Installed these on a truck cap with cargo rack. Works well for ratchet straps etc. These are small but strong. Would not push weight limit. Good for what I intended.
